The thesis titled "Latin Rhythms and Anaerobic Capacity in Students of Third-Year General Unified High School" explores how practicing Latin rhythms such as salsa, merengue, and bachata impacts adolescents' anaerobic capacity. This topic is relevant because it demonstrates how these dynamic and cultural activities can serve as an effective tool to improve students' physical performance. The primary objective of the study was to establish the relationship between the practice of Latin rhythms and the development of anaerobic capacity in high school students. Additionally, it aimed to describe how these rhythms influence other physical aspects such as coordination, strength, and endurance. The methodology used was qualitative, applied, and pre-experimental, with a fieldbased, longitudinal, and analytical-synthetic approach. Comparative and hypotheticaldeductive methods were employed to analyze the results. The main findings were obtained through the Burpees test and statistical analysis using the SPSS program with the Wilcoxon test. The results showed significant improvements in the students’ anaerobic capacity after the intervention. In the pretest, 96.3% of the students were at a "poor" level of anaerobic capacity, whereas, in the post-test, 48.1% reached a "good" level, 18.5% a "very good" level, and another 18.5% an "excellent" level. This confirmed the hypothesis that teaching Latin rhythms positively impacts anaerobic capacity.
