For the development of this work we used a descriptive methodology obtained in the Clinical History that rests in the health unit, based on biological and environmental risk factors, lifestyles and laboratory tests, as well as a verbal interview where investigate the details of the disease, determining that one of the main causes for the development of the disease of the newborn was maternal nutrition during pregnancy but it is also attributed to many causes that lead to this, will also be supported by bibliographic sources , books, documents and scientific articles. It was identified that the patient, after being attended by the medical staff together with the nursing staff, presented great improvement in terms of weight gain, which contributed to the xiv development of an in-hospital guide aimed at all nurses for the area of neonatology. Since independently these types of patients require specific care that contributes to the recovery of the patient and also to the development of an extra hospital guide aimed at parents, relatives and caregivers of the newborn since the care of a newborn in the home is of vital importance to improve their development and growth.
