However, it has been identified that many children have delays or difficulties in strengthening fundamental motor skills with coordination, balance and postural control. In view of this, this research aimed to determine the incidence of children's in gross motor skills in children of the UTA Child Development Center (CDI) during the period March and July 2025. The research methodology, on the other hand, consisted of a quantitative approach with pretest-postest experimental design in a single group. The sample consisted of 22 children aged 2 years and 3 years, to whom the Peabody Motor Scale of Development, Second Edition (PDMS-2) was applied, before and after the completion of the activity. Descriptive and inferential statistics were used for the analysis, applying the t-test for related samples. The results show significant differences, which implies that the application of midwifery significantly influences the gross motor skills of children. The strategy used emphasizes the development of static and dynamic motors together as the postural control of coordination and balance, reinforcing the consideration of an effective pedagogical resource for early stimulation in the classroom.
