Low back pain in pregnancy is a common condition that affects maternal-fetal health, due to its impact on the quality of life of pregnant women, generally it appears between week 24 to 36, causing a serious functional disability and interfering with activities. work, quality of sleep and level of physical activity; Therefore, it was proposed to determine the effects of a core stabilization exercise program in reducing low back pain in pregnant mothers through a quasi-experimental longitudinal study, in 20 participants connected remotely through the zoom platform. To determine the exercise plan, a search and systematic review of scientific articles was carried out in different databases, which included PubMed, Medline, PEDro, Science Direct, and Scielo, using keywords, where more than 50 articles were obtained, of which Only 20 were selected that supported the proposal. Subsequently, they were evaluated before and after the intervention, with the numerical pain scale (NRS), to measure the intensity of pain; and the Oswestry scale to identify the level of disability associated with low back pain, the data obtained were tabulated and statistically analyzed using the IBM SPSS V22 program. The results obtained after the intervention reflected significant differences in the intensity of pain (0.000), and the level of associated disability (0.000); Concluding that core strengthening exercises are effective in reducing low back pain in pregnant women.
