This study investigated the influence of reduced games in the motor coordination of students of General Basic Secondary Education. The main objective was to determine whether a pedagogical intervention based on reduced games improved motor coordination, specifically oculo-pedal coordination, in students of the “Madre Gertrudis” Educational Unit. For this purpose, a methodology with a mixed approach was adopted, applying the KTK motor coordination test to a sample of 100 students before and after an intervention program. This program consisted of reduced game sessions applied during a period of two months. The data collected were analyzed statistically by means of SPSS software, using the T-test for independent samples to verify the research hypothesis. Initial results showed a level of general motor coordination categorized as “normal” with a trend towards “good”, with a mean of 110.03 points on the KTK test. After the intervention, statistical analysis revealed a p-value of less than 0.05, which allowed the null hypothesis to be rejected. It was concluded that the application of reduced games has a positive and significant impact on the development of students' motor coordination. These findings validate the efficacy of reduced games as a valuable pedagogical strategy in the field of Physical Education to enhance motor skills in the school population.
