    El agua de riego y su incidencia en la calidad de vida de las personas de la comunidad Guambaine, parroquia Angamarca, cantón Pujilí, provincia de Cotopaxi

    El presente proyecto: El agua de riego y su incidencia en la calidad de vida de las personas de la comunidad Guambaine, parroquia Angamarca, cantón Pujilí, provincia de Cotopaxi, se encuentra enfocado en concientizar a la comunidad agrícola que la actualización en nuevos sistemas de riego y otras alternativas en la actualidad son más eficientes, y con esto se puede lograr una mejor producción. En esta investigación, el trabajo de campo se realizó mediante la utilización de instrumentos de recolección de información, como son la encuesta e investigación bibliográfica, encuestas que fueron realizadas a personas beneficiadas por el sistema de riego, la investigación bibliográfica se realizó en libros y manuales para la implementación de riegos, también se realizó el levantamiento topográfico de toda la comunidad lo que ayuda al trazado y diseño del sistema propuesto. Como propuesta de esta investigación se realizó el diseño e implementación de la primera etapa de un Sistema de Riego por Aspersión, conteniendo aspectos como: diseño de una captación superficial desde la fuente concesionada hasta el almacenamiento, diseño de un reservorio nocturno con capacidad para satisfacer a toda la comunidad en el mes de sequía, cálculo hidráulico de la tubería de conducción y de un ramal de distribución crítico, así como los dispositivos de aspersión los cuales son fundamentales para el buen funcionamiento del sistema.

    El agua potable y su incidencia en la calidad sanitaria de los habitantes del barrio el progreso de la comunidad Puñachizag del cantón Quero, provincia de Tungurahua

    Para la elaboración de este proyecto se realizaron encuestas de las cuales los habitantes manifestaron que actualmente cuentan con agua entubada, además dan a conocer las fallas de dicho sistema, esto minimiza la calidad sanitaria de los moradores. Debido a esto se llega a la conclusión de realizar una nueva distribución del sistema de abastecimiento de agua potable y la ampliación del tanque de almacenamiento del barrio El Progreso, para la realización de este proyecto se aplicaron normas establecidas por el INEN y el C.E.C. para proyectos de alcantarillado y agua potable, además se realizó el levantamiento topográfico, los cálculos para diseño de agua potable, los cálculos de caudales: caudal medio diario, caudal máximo diario, caudal máximo horario; el cálculo del volumen del tanque de reserva, la redistribución del sistema de abastecimiento de agua y la ampliación del tanque de reserva.

    Las aguas residuales y su incidencia en la calidad de vida de los habitantes de la comuna San Miguel de Llullaló del cantón Ambato provincia de Tungurahua

    El presente trabajo de investigación se realizó en la Comuna San Miguel de Llullaló, perteneciente a la Parroquia Pasa, donde están asentados 497 habitantes quienes serán beneficiados directamente con este proyecto. En este estudio se ha analizado la calidad de vida de los habitantes en base a las aguas residuales producidas por los mismos a través de listas de chequeo y cuestionarios aplicados en la comunidad. En base a las conclusiones y recomendaciones dadas para el proyecto se ha demostrado que al contar con un sistema de alcantarillado sanitario la calidad de vida aumenta en gran magnitud, por lo que se ha propuesto el diseño del sistema de alcantarillado sanitario para los habitantes de la comuna San Miguel de Llullaló, con el cual las aguas residuales producidas serán recolectadas de forma correcta y enviadas a una planta de tratamiento. La propuesta consiste en una red de alcantarillado de 5.90 Km de longitud, la cual recolectará las aguas desde el barrio el Obraje hasta la parte más baja de la comuna dando servicio a la mayoría de los habitantes. Para realizar el diseño fue necesario hacer el levantamiento topográfico para posteriormente elaborar el diseño de la red en un software especializado, en el cual se ubicó los pozos y tuberías respetando los parámetros que ordena las normas INEN. El proyecto se concluye con la realización de los planos definitivos, el plan de control y mitigación ambiental, el presupuesto referencial y el cronograma valorado de trabajo.

    Las aguas residuales y su incidencia en la calidad de vida de los habitantes del caserío Echaleche de la parroquia Juan Benigno Vela del cantón Ambato, provincia de Tungurahua

    La presente investigación tiene como finalidad aportar al mejoramiento de la calidad de vida de los habitantes del caserío Echaleche perteneciente a la parroquia Juan Benigno Vela del cantón Ambato, provincia del Tungurahua. Se realizó una encuesta a los habitantes del caserío Echaleche, lo cual permitió determinar la influencia de las aguas residuales sobre la calidad de vida a través del análisis de factores determinantes como: abastecimiento de agua potable, infraestructura sanitaria y eliminación de aguas residuales. Una vez que se han interpretado y procesado la información recogida se plantea el diseño del alcantarillado sanitario y la planta de tratamiento para el caserío Echaleche. La propuesta planteada está dirigida para un población futura de 257 habitantes en un periodo de diseño de 25 años, el sistema de alcantarillado incluye una red de 1,99 km de longitud, compuesta por un total de 51 pozos, la planta de tratamiento ha sido diseñado de modo que la depuración de las aguas residuales sea eficiente. Para la ejecución de la propuesta técnica planteada, se realizó el levantamiento topográfico del sector con la ayuda de equipo de precisión; posteriormente se elaboró el diseño hidráulico, basado en las normas INEN, tanto del sistema de alcantarillado sanitario como el de la planta de tratamiento conjuntamente con sus respectivos planos.

    Las aguas residuales y su incidencia en la calidad de vida de los habitantes del sector Tres Juanes, tramo I, parroquia La Matriz del cantón Mocha, provincia de Tungurahua

    El presente trabajo de investigación fue llevado a cabo con la intención de contribuir al mejoramiento de la calidad de vida de los habitantes del sector Tres Juanes del cantón Mocha. Aquí se incluyen los diseños técnicos del alcantarillado sanitario y la planta de tratamiento hechos con parámetros acorde a las necesidades del sector. El trabajo en campo del presente proyecto se ve reflejado en la fiel recolección de la información tanto de la calidad de vida los habitantes como la realidad del sector, mediante la aplicación de dos tipos de encuestas, poniendo énfasis en la influencia provocada por las aguas residuales a la calidad de vida de los habitantes del sector Tres Juanes. La información topográfica extraída del sector en mención permite realizar un diseño sanitario e hidráulico de la red acorde a los parámetros y normas técnicas reglamentadas en nuestro país. Se incluye además datos correspondientes a la inversión económica necesaria para el presente proyecto: su respectivo análisis de precios unitarios, su cronograma correspondiente y el estudio de impacto ambiental necesario para su aprobación. El trabajo de oficina, cálculos, planos y detalles constructivos se lo hizo con la ayuda de softwares especializados. En los anexos se detalla la información original obtenida en el campo, además de modelos e información encuestas, planos de diseño tanto de la red de alcantarillado sanitario como de la planta de tratamiento.

    Las aguas residuales y su incidencia en la condición sanitaria de los moradores de la parroquia Arapicos, cantón Palora, provincia de Morona Santiago

    Como parte preliminar se realizó la encuesta para determinar el problema que tiene la población de la parroquia y verificar la hipótesis planteada en nuestra investigación, seguidamente se hizo el levantamiento topográfico de la zona y de esta manera conseguir los datos reales del terreno, se verificó que el área de estudio es de 32Há, luego se obtuvieron los diseños de la red de alcantarillado sanitario, (caudales, pendientes, velocidades, diámetros de tubería), bajos la Norma NEC, EXIEOS, CO-106 y 107 La red de recolección de aguas residuales (alcantarillado sanitario), empieza con un colector localizado en la Av. Río Palora, Calle las Guayusas continuando por la perimetral hasta empalmar con la Av. Cromacio Velín. Este recoge las aguas negras de la parte Norte-Sur, Este-Oeste del centro poblado de Arapicos, de aquí se trasladan las aguas residuales hacia la planta de tratamiento que está localizada en los predios del Sr. Fermín Rojas. La tubería de conducción es de PVC de diámetro de 200 mm. La planta de tratamiento se diseñó a partir del caudal sanitario medio diario, el proyecto consta de los diseños hidráulicos sanitarios, análisis de precios unitarios, planos constructivos de la red de alcantarillado y la planta de tratamiento, con una proyección de vida útil de 25 años.

    Análisis de la grava como filtro en el tratamiento de aguas residuales provenientes de la industria florícola La Herradura Floherrer S.A. ubicada en el cantón Salcedo

    The present experimental project was carried out in the flower industry La Herradura Floherrer S.A. located in the canton of Salcedo, in order to assess the efficiency of the gravel in the treatment of industrial wastewater, the experimental time was 90 days, where the daily flow of waste water from the industry of 4500 was determined lt / day, when evaluating the unfiltered residual water, the following results were obtained: 875 mg / l of COD, 420 mg / l of BOD5 and 0.003 mg / l of chromium. The operation of the gravel filter was constant, by means of the calibration of the residual water flow that entered the filter of 0.105 lt / min, during the 90 days of evaluation, in which samples of filtered residual water were taken every 10 days to determine the filtering capacity that the material was provided, and knowing well when the material had stopped purifying the wastewater. After filtering the residual water of the floriculture industry for 90 days, evaluating the results, the maximum efficiencies of removal of the filtering material were obtained: 87.43% in the removal of COD, 88.47% in the removal of BOD5 and it was determined that the presence Chromium in the wastewater industry was minimal. Through the results obtained it was possible to determine the optimum time of useful life of the filter ing material, being that during the first 30 days of operation the filtered water complies with the values allowed in the regulations, so that the gravel can be used as filtering materia l in the treatment of wastewater from a floriculture industry for a period of 30 days, after which the filtering material (gravel) must be replaced by a new one, previously washed, to remove particles of granular material from smaller size.

    Análisis de la turba como filtro en el tratamiento de aguas residuales provenientes del “Centro de faenamiento Ocaña Cía. Ltda.” ubicada en la comunidad de Yayulihui, del cantón Quero, provincia de Tungurahua.

    The present experimental work was realized to know the reduction of the parameters of Biochemical Oxygen Demand (DBO5), Chemical Oxygen Demand (DQO) and Oils and Fats, the filter prepared with organic material (rabble) in the “Ocaña Cía. Ltda. Slaughter Center ” The experimental design realized in the laboratory and field obtaining like main information that the monitoring of the waste water in 90 days is 2.443 and that for 10 samples the waste water leaked is. In the structure there is located a high tank of a 55 gallons capacity, which stores the waste water originated from the slaughter of the animals, with a certain wealth of Q=0,105 lt/sg, by means of the tubes of ½ ”in PVC. The residues are eliminated and evacuated by the free area under 3 centimeters of the salver of decanting. The results it shows that the (DBO5) in the first filtration was a 62,01 % of level of efficiency and in the sample 10 a value of efficiency of 64,13 %. The (DQO), in the first filtration an efficiency of 66,28 % was obtained in the sample 10 obtains a value of efficiency of 68,33 % related to oils and fats indicates that the value of efficiency goes from 71,92 % for the sample 2 up to a value of 88,00 %, then it is possible to be said that reduction existed in the decontamination parameters, therefore the filter prepared with rabble provides of a considerable pollutants removal.

    Análisis de piedra poméz como filtro en el tratamiento de aguas residuales industriales provenientes de la lavadora y tinturadora de jeans “Dayantex”. ubicada en el cantón Pelileo, provincia de Tungurahua, Ecuador

    In this work, we present the evaluation of the Pómez stone as a filtering material for treated wastewater from “DAYANTEX” washer and dyeing of jeans. This study was carried out during 90 days (3 months) where samples were collected and analyzed each 10 days, the parameters studied were: Color, Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) and Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD5); to know the efficiency of the Pómez stone. A metallic structure was designed to support the effluent and the filtering material, the volume of wastewater treated was also calculated, during the 90 days, with a flow rate of 0.105 l / min. The results obtained for the parameters of Color, COD and BOD5 show an increase in the efficiency of the Pumice stone with the passing of the days in use, arriving to present the best values of efficiency in the last tree tens of days studied; reached 86.2%, 95.22% and 94.91% for Color, COD and BOD5, respectively. With this study we demonstrated that the Pómez stone can be used by decontaminate the wastewater from a washer and dye of jeans, with a total volume of 3135 gallons treated in 90 days with optimum results of efficiency.

    Análisis de piedra pómez como filtro en el tratamiento de aguas residuales provenientes de una lavadora y lubricadora de autos “City Wash”, ubicada en la ciudad Ambato, provincia de Tungurahua

    The objective of this experimental project is to determine the effectiveness of the stone as a filtering material in the treatment of wastewater. Therefore, a 55-gallon container and a plastic container containing the stored wastewater and filtering material, respectively, were implemented. The volume of pumice stone that was used of 35 liters with a flow rate of 0.105 lt / min for the filtration process. To evaluate the effectiveness of the filter, three parameters were analyzed: Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD5), Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) and Oils and Fats, during a period of 40 days of operation, in which 10 were taken samples of raw and filtered water in the days of higher production previously determined in the "City Wash" industry, to be analyzed later in an accredited laboratory, which guarantees the reliability of results. The values obtained indicate a reduction of pollution levels in an average percentage of 34.42%, 35.66%, 38.87% of BOD5, COD, Oils and Fats respectively, and consequently reach admissible values for the TULSMA standard. These results allow to verify that the pumice stone is filtering material could be used as an ideal option in the pretreatment of effluents generated by car washers, since in this particular case the degree of contamination was reduced in each parameter.

    Análisis del bagazo de caña de azúcar como filtro en el tratamiento de aguas residuales provenientes de la curtiembre Los Tres Juanes, provincia de Tungurahua

    The present work was performed a biofiltration system with bagasse of sugar cane, in the treatment of effluents from a tannery, for the evaluation of the same was proceeded to characterize the biodegradability of the initial and final wastewater of the filtra t ion process, considering various types of chemical physical analysis such as: Biochemica l Oxygen Demand (DBO5), Chemical Oxygen Demand (DQO), and Hexavale nt Chromium. The monitoring of the filter was developed in a time of 90 days, the sampling was performed once every ten days approximately, completing 10 samples, one before and nine after the filtration process, which were analyzed in the laboratories of Lacquaanálisis S.A. The results of the analyzes will determine the efficiency of the filter, comparing with the first unfiltered analysis, will also be verified if they comply with the permiss ible limits stipulated in the Unified Text of Secondary Legislation of the Ministry of the Environment (TULSMA). After analyzing the results, it was determined that sugar cane bagasse as a filter material contributed to a small percentage of the removal of the parameters mentioned above.

    Análisis del bagazo de la caña de azúcar como filtro en el tratamiento de aguas residuales provenientes de la industria de lácteos “Lácteos Valenzuela Divino Niño” de la provincia de Cotopaxi, cantón Saquisilí

    In the present work try to evaluate the efficiency of sugarcane bagasse in the pre-treatment of a residual milk effluent; for the development of the work was taken a period of 90 days, which estimated a residual flow of (0.13ltrs / sec) and a final volume = 4680ltrs / Labor day, corresponding a volume of milk waste = 360ltrs / Labor day; the following initial concentrations of Oils and Fats (1324mg / l), BOD5 (2631mg / l) and COD (5560mg / l) are present. The purifying capacity of the filter material is determined by a sampling of filtered water for analysis every 10 days, and by means of the results obtained, establish the time to be replaced, also by through of a microscopic sweep observe the degenerative process of the material. The maximum efficiencies achieved are around: 30.55% (Oils and Fats), 81.07% (BOD5) and 79.78% (COD), during the first 60 days, from there it is necessary to have more accurate and realistic results due to the inconsistent dispersion that can result in the sampling when the industrial production varies in working day and final byproduct, so in the last 30 days of treatment only the BOD5 (relevant parameter) of the waste water treated is analyzed and without treatment from the same collection and generative process of the day defined for sampling, with a filter riverbed change every 10 days. Getting a real average efficiency of 55.97%, and a microscopic sweep revealing a morphological structure dominated by surface wear, pores totally sealed by solid milk residues at micrometric level, separated near-smooth fibers creating gaps between them and even the presence of microorganisms . That said, it establishes a functional useful life of the filter media very short (30 days) and a greater efficiency during the initial 10 days of continuous filtration, in addition it emphasizes the relation cost / benefit being the material suitable for a pre-treatment or tertiary treatment although the adsorbate and adsorbent are of the same type (organic) giving way to a rapid degradation

    Biofiltración sobre cama de turba, para el tratamiento sobre agua residual proveniente del lavado de jeans

    The present experimental work has to objective design and build a prototype of a biofilter on peat bed, for the treatment of the residual water from the Jeans washing. The biofilter was constructed with recycled materials such as: water bottles, plastic meshes and biodegradable materials such as virusa. The general scheme of the filtration column was to establish a layered structure consisting of the following: First layer: virgin, which serves as the distribution material of the inlet water of the waste water. Second layer: Constituted by the peat, is the main layer of filtration. The properties of the peat (adsorption, absorption, ion exchange, porosity), help to purify the residual water from the Jeans washing. Third layer: consists of river sand, serves as support material, and auxiliary purification. Fourth layer: Pumice stone, which allows a better discharge of treated wastewater, and serves as a support material. The process was performed for 36 days, with a number of 10 samples analyzed. Data collection was performed before and after biofiltration, to establish changes in coloration. For the analysis of the physicochemical parameters, we proceeded to take the samples and take them to the laboratory in a maximum of two hours, in order not to alter the results. With the database, analyzes and calculations of the efficiency in the purification of the residual water were carried out, obtaining the following results: DQO = 76.69%, DBO5 = 75.27%, ST = 57.33% efficiency, which allowed to establish criteria of Design and to determine that the peat has high efficiency for the purification of the residual water from the washing of Jeans

    Caracterización de la curva de consumo diario de la red de agua potable de los sectores Atahualpa 2, Constantino Fernández 2 y Augusto Martínez 2, del cantón Ambato

    The present experimental work has as purpose provide data related to drinking water consumption and measurements of the water volume of the residential users in the sector Atahuala2, Constantino Fernández 2 y Augusto Martínez2. For the information gathering was determined the numbers of the monitored houses, the collection time was for 60 days (07:00-11:00). It was been made surveys to the residential users in order to obtain information like: typology and house 's types, number of consumers per home, numbers de health units and possible problems that increase water consumption; also, it has been made the mediation oh the values of the pressure with which the water reaches the homes of the sector. With the use of a GIS(Geographic Information System) presented the project area, the location of the water meters, per capita consumption value and variation of water pressures.Subsequently, the statistical analysis and the interpretation of results resulted in: number of consumers per house, number of health units, maximum and minimum consumption of the sector, consumption values per capita characteristic of the sector, typical week, patterns of daily and hours consumption, consumption average for future populations. This information will used in the future for the design and redesign of drinking water networks.

    Caracterización de la curva de consumo diario de la red de agua potable de los sectores Picaihua, Totoras y Montalvo del cantón Ambato

    The purpose of this experimental work, is to develop the characterization of the daily consumption curve of the drinking water network of Picaihua, Totoras and Montalvo sectors from Ambato city. For the development of the analysis, a method was established, with which a systematic process can be obtained in this research, so: previous studies took place in the area to determine the best way to collect the data. Also, to create a record of the water consumed in each house, daily readings of the water meters were made, which lasted sixty days in a row. Later on, surveys in each house were carried out, with the objective of getting relevant information for this investigation, such as: number of people per house, number of toilets, showers, among others. At the same time, measurements of the drinking water pressure took place in each household, which lasted seven consecutive days. On the other hand, to obtain an hourly consumption information, a single house in the Montalvo sector was selected. A video camera was installed on the water meter, which recorded 24 hours a day, for seven days. With the information processed and analyzed, the pertinent calculations and interpretations were made. Afterwards, the daily consumption of each households in the Picaihua, Totoras and Montalvo sectors were: 155, 139 and 143 L/hab/day for each one of them. Finally, through a Geographic Information Systems (GIS) software all the results were showed graphically.

    The objective of this experimental work is to propose curves of daily drinking water consumption, generated by users of San Francisco sector in the Ambato canton, these results will be useful for consulting studies, as well as for the EMAPA public company and for future research. This project is mainly based on making field measurements of drinking water consumption, which allow to obtain: consumption patterns, maximum flows, daily consumption curves, per-capita consumption; to later make a mapping of results in the Geographic Information System (GIS) software. For the development of the present experimental project, it began collecting necessary information of the sector in study, such as: its delimitation, numbers of existing properties, total area of the sector; to later select the sample that will be evaluated, then the micromeasurement of the flow consumed was carried out in a period of one day for two months, after that, hourly measurements were made in a dwelling of the sector in periods of one hour (during the 24 hours) in seven days, in addition, pressure measurements were taken in each dwelling taken as a sample for seven days and finally concluded with the surveys made to users of the sector under study. Once the field data were obtained, the tabulation, analysis and interpretation of the results were carried out, such as: type of dwellings, number of users per dwelling, number of average sanitary units in each dwelling, identification of problems, allocation and water pressure, daily consumptions and hourly consumptions, typical week of consumption, per-capita consumption, daily and hourly consumption patterns and pressures, to later generate a mapping in the geographic information system.

    Caracterización de la curva de consumo diario del agua potable del sector Celiano Monge II del cantón Ambato

    The present study is based on taking daily readings of drinking water demands so that later we can generate curves of daily consumption, consumption patterns, maximum and minimum daily flows, to make a graphic demonstration of the results obtained, all this with the help of a GIS software (Geograghic Information System). It began collecting all the information required from the sector under study, it was divided into two parts to facilitate the collection of data and sampling, samples were chosen previously a study, then the daily readings were taken, this lasted 60 days, then we proceeded to carry out the surveys to the users of the sector, in the same way the taking of pressures. Once the necessary information was taken, information was tabulated, statistical analysis and interpretation of the results obtained, such as: Number of inhabitants, type and type of dwelling, number of average sanitary units, typical week of consumption, consumption patterns, maximum and minimum flows, classified by type of dwelling in the sector by means of graphs and tables for do it his representation in the System of Geographic Information (GIS)

    Desarrollo de un software específico para el cálculo de canales abiertos de flujo uniforme considerando los principios de energía

    The present research contains the codification of a specific software to calculate open channels with uniform flow, considering the principles of energy, it allows to obtain easily and safely the normal depth, critical depth, geometric elements, flow rate, optimal hydraulic section proposed by Ven Te Chow, such as: rectangular, trapezoidal, triangular, circular, parabolic, rectangular with rounded corners and triangular with rounded bottom. Additionally, the geometric elements for any equation of the parabola, the highlight hydraulic and landfills. In order to validate the SN CANALES v2.0L software, the results obtained by using the existing software HCANALES were compared to the ones obtained by the proposed software and hand calculation step by step. The margin error was less than 1.5% which verified the software reliability.

    Desarrollo de una aplicación para el cálculo y diseño de canales abiertos de diferentes secciones hidraúlicas

    The purpose of this technical work is the development of a mobile application for the Android system. The purpose is to design open channels which allows to speed up the process of calculations with exact and precise results such as in the case of geometric elements, flow, sections optimal, normal depth critical depth you can calculate channels in sections such as: rectangular, trapezoidal, triangular, circular, parabolic, rectangular with rounded corners, triangular with rounded bottom. We can also obtain specific results such as: speed, froude number, type of flow, specific energy among others along with the formulas proposed by Ven Te Chow. The encoding of this application was done in Netbeans64 and Android Studio. The efficiency of this mobile application in an Android environment is acceptable and checks were carried out with different software such as: SN CHANNELS, HydroEolm Channels and the manual method. A margin of error less than 0.5 percent could be determined, which makes this mobile application more reliable.
