This study aimed to analyze the effect of a suspension exercise program on lactic anaerobic resistance in football players from the Cantonal League of Patate. A quasiexperimental design with pre- and post-intervention measurements was applied to a sample of 30 players. The main variable was evaluated using the Repeated Sprint Ability (RSA) test, which recorded parameters such as total time, best sprint time, and fatigue index. In the initial diagnostic phase, most players were classified at the subelite level, with a significant portion at the amateur level. A structured suspension training program was then implemented over a set period. After the intervention, a redistribution in performance levels was observed, with more players classified as subelite and elite. Post-intervention RSA test results showed a decrease in average sprint times and total time, as well as a change in the fatigue index. Statistical analysis using the paired-sample Student’s t-test revealed significant differences in all evaluated parameters (p < 0.05), confirming that the observed improvements were not due to chance. It is concluded that the suspension exercise program had a positive effect on the lactic anaerobic resistance of the evaluated players, making it a valid tool for improving physical performance in competitive football contexts.
