    Uso de la red Twitter como herramientas para la difusión y promoción de destinos turisticos , estudio de caso: Campaña viaja primero Ecuador del Ministerio de Turismo en Tungurahua

    The Ecuadorian productive sector and the Ministry of Tourism promoted the campaign "Travel first Ecuador", which was born on May 7, 2015 with the aim of generating in Ecuadorians the sense of belonging and pride for their country in the tourism aspect, to look for options of internal tourism, visit and know Ecuador. With this campaign the economy of the country would improve considerably and generate sources of employment, offering good and comfortable tourist packages for its customers. In this way, Ecuador could become a tourist power in the future, generating wealth for the country. The tourist campaign had a positive acceptance in recent years in different social networks nationwide, in the case of the province of Tungurahua the social network twitter has helped to disseminate and promote local tourism destinations that are positioning and have been recognized for the tourism industry. Based on this, this research project was designed to analyze the contents that are published in the twitter account of the campaign First Travel Ecuador and how this influences the dissemination and promotion of tourist destinations in Tungurahua. For the purpose, three data collection tools were used: a survey, a matrix for content analysis and two interview formats. In the conclusions it is determined that more than 90% of the Tungurahua respondents recognize the importance of the Viaja Primero Ecuador campaign to promote local tourism destinations, which is why, at the end of the recommendations, the elaboration of a strategy of digital communication to enhance the social network twitter.
