Therefore, it is important that educational institutions incorporate technological tools and resources into their academic planning and encourage the training of teachers and students in the use of these educational technologies. Therefore, the main objective of this research is to identify the use of Generative Artificial Intelligence tools that allow the teaching of Natural Sciences in General Basic Secondary Education. Its methodological approach was qualitative and quantitative, descriptive and ethnographic, where two instruments were applied: a survey to 60 students from the educational institution where the research was carried out and a structured interview with 3 teachers in the area of Natural Sciences. The result is that this technology in current education is essential in educational centers, since, if the technological infrastructure is not improved, both teachers and students will continue to face difficulties in accessing AI tools. Concluding that the IAG is of great benefit to both the educated and the teachers, in terms of improving their academic performance, increasing the motivation to want to continue acquiring knowledge, transforming the teaching process from a traditional way to an innovative, updated, technological one, adapted to the needs of the students.
