Análisis iconográfico de las miniaturas de la Cultura Panzaleo y su aplicación en el diseño interior de entornos turísticos

Due to the ignorance of people to the identity of their community, people, so this research work seeks to encourage the revitalization of the ancient peoples that through history have left their mark, for this purpose meet the proposed objectives. Identify the formal and visual characteristics of the iconographies found in the miniatures of the Panzaleo culture. Design decorative elements for interior spaces of tourist centers with pre-Columbian motifs. Validate the proposal through a study of Panzaleo culture iconography and its application in the design of a cultural space in a tourist environment. To this end, several active techniques were used, such as the research methodology of the survey, by means of a population, which will allow obtaining data on the subject of study, which will help to find a possible solution, and within the methodology, the approaches will be used. qualitative and quantitative, the basic modalities of the research, the levels and types of research, among other aspects that allow the person responsible for the work to better sustain, in conclusion it follows that the iconography of the Panzaleo culture allows to design architecturally appropriate spaces to drawings, graphics, figures, details that can contribute to beautify and awaken the creativity at the moment of building by means of a professional in architecture, iconographic designs in environments of tourist centers what will make possible the knowledge of the ancient towns like the Panzaleo culture that they lived centuries ago in the Salcedo canton.
Las condiciones ambientales del Teatro Humbolt y su relación con el confort de los usuarios

El presente trabajo de titulación, tiene como finalidad garantizar el confort en los espacios interiores del teatro Humboldt de la parroquia de San Miguel del cantón Salcedo, provincia de Cotopaxi. Mediante de una investigación que conlleve a contribuir directamente en las características del espacio interior, el cual está dirigido a mejorar la calidad de vida de los usuarios, propiciando ambientes espaciales que faciliten la inserción del niños, niñas, jóvenes, adultos, adultos mayores, en cualquier ámbito o contexto social nacional o internacional para proyectar sus costumbres, principios culturales y la identidad de su pueblo. El enfoque de la investigación es cuali-cuantitativo, cuya modalidad básica se apoya en una investigación documental bibliográfica y de intervención social encaminada a enfrentar de manera directa la problemática para estructurar el teatro en base a los aspectos ambientales, funcionales y específicos. El nivel o tipo de investigación es descriptiva, exploratoria, combinada con una asociación de variables, lo que crea una investigación de orden generatriz, la que servirá como soporte y base para futuras investigaciones. La técnica utilizada es la entrevista con su respectiva guía, de la que se realizará un análisis apoyado en la triangulación de datos.
Condiciones de habitabilidad del Centro Municipal de Acogida de Animales de Ambato

Nowadays, to reduce the number of abandoned animals that haunt the street, several municipal animal shelter centers were built, which as main objective is to provide shelter, protection and the opportunity to get a new home for the animals, also they provide various services such as deworming, vaccines and mainly sterilization. This project aims to improve the living conditions of the establishment, analyzing whether the five freedoms of animal welfare are currently being met, thus seeking to create a design focused on companion animals as the main user, while not influencing the activities that are made daily and improve the workspaces of the place. Through the research carried out it was possible to highlight some aspects to be taken into account to cover all the basic needs of the companion animals and also how in the long term these influence their behavior, making it difficult to coexist with the local employees and their possibility of being adopted. Through the present proposal, it is intended to create a design that covers the needs of animals and people, which allows improving the services offered to the city. This project aims to preserve the positive aspects of the place, but also complement them to be comfortable and allow better interaction between animals and people who reach at the establishment.
Confort auditivo en la empresa artesanal de calzado “NEB CALZA” en la ciudad de Ambato.

The present study aims to provide acoustic comfort to workers and owners of the handicraft shoe company "NEB CALZA" in which industrial machinery is used. It is intended to reduce the time of reverberation in its interior by the treatment with absorbent materials of the walls and the ceiling. Knowing that it does not have any process prior to noise pollution, in addition, it lacks adequate distribution of interior spaces and is an important element to reduce noise in the environment. For the development of the same, a previous bibliographical and field research is carried out, applying the interview to the owners and the survey to the workers of the company, in order to obtain real information about their annoyances and the needs within the working day, In addition to an analysis of the spaces and work areas that exist in the workplace in order to develop a different proposal through plans, models, materials, furniture and details that contribute to the preparation of the proposal. The present project is very important for the well-being of the workforce, thus helping to better develop the activities of the workers, which in turn favors the productivity of the company.
Diseño de jardines como recurso terapéutico aplicado en Centros Gerontológicos

In the present titling work it was determined that the physical-social environment in which the elderly develop is associated with their environment and well-being. In the geronological center it has been shown that this population has limitations in terms of their activities in outdoor spaces, which could generate monotony and isolation, which in turn could result in negative changes in their mood and behavior Based on the above, the objective of this study was to evaluate therapeutic gardens as an alternative to improve the emotional, psychological and physical state of older adults will improve their energy level. The therapeutic gardens have as main objective the recovery or rehabilitation of the users through the different therapeutic potentials offered by the different types of existing vegetation, through the texture, color, size, smell, shape; benefiting the emotional, psychological and physiological state of all the people who visit the area. The proposal is to create recreation and entertainment areas for the elderly and staff of the Caiam Patate gerontologist center, located in Patate-Tungurahua, incorporating activities that will be carried out in the place, taking into account the current situation of the elderly. It proposes taking advantage of a rest area that would help improve the quality of life, on the other hand, physical therapy and mental therapy areas will be applied, giving them a space to improve the quality of life of the elderly living in the asylum. Through the observation and survey an evaluation of the place will be made and you will obtain the necessary requirements to improve asylum. Taking as reference material, vegetation and areas of different kinds that have been implemented in similar projects in other countries.
Diseño de jardines verticales en el interior de viviendas y la calidad de vida de los habitantes de la parroquia La Merced

The present research studies the causes that prevent people, from "La Merced" locality, to access a green area inside their apartment. The principal objective of this project is to suggest the design of vertical gardens in the interior of houses, as an alternative to improve the quality of life. Through the multiple benefits that a vegetation space can offer. Besides it incorporates new construction concepts in people´s mind. That are coupled with the nowadays necessities of the environment conservation. The type of research carried out was descriptive-exploratory because it engages with the characteristics of a particular group and context. The investigative method used was Inductive-Deductive by statistical analysis. The results converge on the trend of the habitants from "La Merced” to own plants inside their houses in a 65.5%.Furthermore many of them agree on the idea that there are hostile environment conditions for the development of integral well-being., being the noise the dominant factor with the 42% of coincidence. The habitants were accessible to incorporate the idea of vertical gardens inside their houses in exchange for the benefits obtained. For feasibility of the project, the specialized professionals asserted that the presence of a vertical garden influences on people´s behavior in a positive way. The experts ensure that it is possible to construct a green wall indoor, always and after that, the environment contains certain conditions. All of this allowed defining the proposal, “GUIDE OF VERTICAL GARDENS FOR THE INTERIOR OF THE HOUSES.

In this article we aboard the theory and methodological themes which are necessary to develop a public space design propose. With the purpose to straight and reflect the cultural identity in the urban space, its analyzed the Salasaca community, the social relationships, the appropriation of the space, and the public spaces in the locality. To identify the best place to intervene and, afterwards, plasm the interior design in the defined community space taking in care all the conditions previously described, achieving the relation context- user-design; to refer the user an appropriation sense.

The Interior Design from “Centro Cultural Indio Guaranga,” located in “Cruz Loma,” has as a main objective the beginning of an innovative space through the architectural interior designer intervention; there will be a different model planted in order to exhibit the cultural heritage. It looks to offer an input to society, especially for the population of Guaranda, in order to further foster their education and cultural enrichment. Being a heritage building, it was fully intervened inside, making the use of techniques in designs essential as a way to offer the necessary treatment in the interior space by optimizing functionality, esthetic, and appropriate distribution with the utilization of materials, textures, furniture, signaling, and elements from the place itself. All this used as a way to create exhibitions where visitors can appreciate knowledge through an interesting, dynamic, and experiential tour. With this study, a functional, formal, technological, and comforting interior design is proposed. We intervene in the elliptical exhibition area of the “Centro Cultural Indio Guaranga.” The concept in use is fundamental in the history of the Province Bolivar, in which the chronological narrative of important events in the life of the region are worked upon while still respecting the main structure of the building, the colors and the own textures of the sector.

Estudio de la iluminación como generador de sensaciones en centros religiosos

The purpose of this research work is to carry out a study of lighting as a generator of sensations in religious centres; since it has been detected that the main problem is the deficient handling of light to generate sensations, which is related to various aspects such as spaces lacking design, which consequently limits the strengthening of design in these places. For the investigation, a bibliographic and literature review was carried out, whose contributions allowed the structuring of the theoretical bases; a mixed methodology was used (quali-quantitative), heading towards the application of an interview directed to three experts in interior design and a survey applied to a sample of 396 people. The results indicated that 34.1 percent of those surveyed feel peace in a religious space; 18.9 percent express feelings of harmony; 15.7 percent manifest well-being; 11.4 percent considered satisfaction as a spiritual sensation; 12.1 percent feel happiness; 4.5 percent indicated that these spaces allow connection with deities and finally 3.3 percent appreciate the aesthetics of the place. Religious centres are characterised by the fact that they allow people to experience various emotions, so spirituality and design are key elements in giving rise to this type of experience. Based on this statistical data, the Chi Square method was applied to verify the correlation of the variables, the alternative hypothesis was accepted establishing that the illumination affects the generation of sensations in religious centers. The research concluded that interior lighting is one of the most important aspects of any living space because it has the ability to change mood; therefore, without adequate lighting, interior design and its architectural beauty cannot be experienced to its fullest capacity. Based on this precedent, a lighting manual for religious centres was drawn up as a proposal.
Evaluación de la iluminación natural en unidades habitacionales multifamiliares de la Parroquia Licán de la ciudad de Riobamba.

This research has as its general objective: To evaluate the natural lighting in multifamily housing units of the parish of Licán in Riobamba city in order to improve the architectural design that enhances the natural lighting. The investigation generated the following result; the 57% represents the majority of the population that resides in this sector, they do not have an efficient use of natural light in their homes. They manifest their disagreement with the architectural designs that they have in their current housing units. So that, it is proposed to design a Multifamily Housing Unit which make the most the natural lighting with the use of bioclimatic architectural elements such as climate and typology, in order to obtain benefits for both owners and professionals in architecture.
Factores de vulnerabilidad con enfoque de riesgos y desastres y planteamiento de una propuesta de reducción de riesgos y desastres para el componente arquitectónico en la Universidad Técnica de Ambato

This research is made up of: Chapter I: Declaration of the problematic of the argument whose general objective defines a systemic study (with a risk and disaster approach) of the vulnerability factors that affect the architectural components, in order to propose improvements in the conditions of integral security of the university community of the UTA. Chapter II: It is developed a theoretical framework which is based on the two variables of the subject and it is proposed the hypothesis of the research. Chapter III: The methodology is explained with emphasis on the qualitative-quantitative approach that also details the modality of bibliographical and field research; additionally, it is exposed the operationalization of variables with indicators that measure vulnerability factors and architectural components respectively. Chapter IV: It is carried out the methodological guide for the assessment of vulnerability factors and architectural components, which result determined a low level of physical vulnerability within the UTA. Chapter V: It is concluded and recommended improvements to vulnerability factors. Chapter VI: It is developed a plan for the prevention of physical vulnerability factors to safeguard the architectural components and the integral security of the university community.

The present research aims to establish sociocultural guidelines that contribute to the functionality of the interior spaces in social housing, starting from the multidisciplinary study of the way of life, cultural practices, habitability and needs of its beneficiaries in the hamlet of Andignato in the Cevallos town. The investigative approach is qualitative and is based on bibliographic, documentary and field instruments aimed at solving the problematic of the needs and requirements of the most vulnerable population of the country. The levels of research are exploratory and descriptive, based on the two variables that are the technical-social foundation that helps this research follow a generational order and allowing housing projects to maintain a close relationship with the customs, characteristics and traditions of their users. In addition, the technique called cultural triangulation directed to professionals in social housing and influential people in the community is applied, so that the best criteria about society, culture and technique can be extracted from the dialogue, which support the elaboration of the proposal on sociocultural based guidelines In the integral characteristics of the people and their habitable conditions in each of the interior spaces, so as to improve living conditions based on the requirements of its users and allowing inclusion and participation in the community.

This research project entitled “Artificial lighting as an interior design strategy in contemporary evangelical churches”, Its aim is to improve the conception of space through interior design using strategies and the correct application of artificial light thus providing comfort to users and facilitating the activities to be developed in the evangelical centers, within the city of Ambato. It is mainly about arriving at the very conception of artificial light over space and the importance of the designer in the application of strategies to achieve optimal spatial functionality, between the strategies to be used to balance the shadow and light that will be generated inside and adapting it to the envelope. Therefore the importance of these elements will facilitate the transformation of the spaces that these in turn will generate sensitive and perceptible emotions, to improve visual quality and greater sensory appreciation, improving the quality of life of users. The aim of the project will be to take advantage of an artificial resource to the well-being of users in religious interior spaces, achieving a harmony and integration between LIGHT-USER and SPACE, thus being a primordial principle of the interiorist. To achieve the goal of seeing light as a perceptible need that must be included from the conception of design and not just as a spatial adornment. Emphasis is placed on documentary, field and bibliographic research, which determines the factors that affect users' activities and their influence on visual aspects in religious spaces, Therefore, the type of exploratory and descriptive research allows to know, analyze, record and provide timely solutions to real problems of daily life for which the elaboration and definition of a technical light guide is allowed to facilitate the use, it will promote the use and guide future professionals by improving the light aspect in contemporary religious spaces.
La iluminación artificial y su relación con la expresividad de los materiales pétreos en el diseño interior

The research project "Artificial lighting and its relationship with the expressiveness of stone materials in interior design", promotes research and study in the field of artificial lighting, through study in design analyzed through experimentation and demonstration , with the purpose of improving the understanding that artificial light has as a tool for interior design and how it can modify the expressiveness of indigenous stone materials from the city of Ambato province of Tungurahua, Ecuador. This project tries to demonstrate the importance of artificial lighting and therefore its value in the field of interior design, and how it works and promotes new fields of application of this research, leaving artificial lighting aside as a technical field and more. well as a generator of useful pleasant spaces that under the use of interior design can serve to renew spaces already built and which are lacking in design. For which the project was based on bibliographic, technical and laboratory research, with a focus for design and reaching this purpose, critical analysis is used, generating new knowledge. Data collection techniques and instruments were used, promoted by specialists in lighting design.
Reciclaje de materiales desperdiciados en la demolición de la construcción para la creación de nuevos materiales y uso en espacios arquitectónicos de la ciudad de Tena.

O El reciclaje es una manera de aportar al cuidado del medio Ambiente, hoy en día después de muchos años la destrucción ambiental se está viendo reflejada mediante el calentamiento global, por tal motivo las iniciativas sostenibles en cualquier campo como el diseño interior se ha convertido en una necesidad el implementar de alguna manera recursos menos contaminantes y alternativas más consientes con nuestro planeta como es el reciclaje de materiales desperdiciados en las demoliciones. En la mayoría de los países incluido Ecuador el principal material de construcción es el hormigón, es un material que por sus características y su bajo costo se ha convertido en uno de los materiales más populares, a partir del uso del hormigón en la construcción han surgido otros materiales complementarios con similares características y propiedades. En la ciudad del Tena la capital de la provincia de Napo es donde realizara el proyecto de investigación, es una de las ciudades que al igual que muchas en el país no tiene un tratamiento destinado a los desechos de materiales en demolición por lo que generalmente son depositados en áreas verdes a las afueras de la cuidad. Mediante esta investigación se busca aportar al cuidado del medio ambiente a través de las alternativas de reciclaje provenientes de los desperdicios en demolición e implementarlos por medio del diseño interior

This research project consists of carrying out a study on orphanages and how psychology can be used to generate spaces that give children the experience of feeling welcomed in a place that adapts to the needs required by their condition and surrounded by a A conducive environment that contributes to improving your physical and mental health, allowing you to improve your quality of life. From an investigation on the state and operation of orphanages in their beginnings and at the national level, the need arises to establish a design model that contributes to the operation and improvement of the services provided by hospices, focusing from the point of view of the design of Inside, the purpose of these spaces is to positively stimulate children's senses and perceptions, reducing their levels of stress, emotional disturbances, enhancing their day to day life. Considering environmental psychological parameters applied to the design, a place can be generated that gives the user a sense that helps them find themselves, that provides comfort, security, physical and sensory stimulation, all through a study of design conditioning factors optimizing functionality, aesthetics and appropriate distribution with the use of materials, textures, furniture, signage and elements that stimulate children physically and mentally. With this study, a manual is proposed as a model of functional, formal, technological and comforting interior design. Where the purpose and description of complementary environments will be presented together with images, elements to harmonize and condition spaces based on the context, needs and interests of infants, always safeguarding the integral development, well-being and learning of the child.
