    Técnica de Maitland en zona subcraneal en trabajadores de tecnología industrial con cefalea cervicogénica

    Cervicogenic headache affects a large number of office and industrial technology workers, causing persistent and limiting pain in the head, shoulders, and upper back; generating high costs for compensation and treatment of affected workers. Conventional treatments do not resolve recurrences, but nowadays manual therapy is applied, but with very little scientific evidence of the effects of certain techniques. In this way, through the following study, the effect of the Maitland technique was determined to reduce cervicogenic headaches in industrial technology workers, through a non-experimental, longitudinal study and under a quantitative approach in 26 workers. T- Control. An initial evaluation of the clinical picture of cervicogenic headache was made in relation to pain intensity through the visual analog scale (VAS), the cervical disability index (NDI) and the impact of headache on daily activities. daily (HIT-6), in order to design a guide and validate it through expert judgment and content validation coefficient calculation (CVC). The guideline was applied for 6 weeks with a frequency of 3 times a week and a duration of 20 min. for session. The results revealed a decrease in pain intensity, cervical disability and the impact of headache and significant differences between measurements of all variables (p<0.05). Concluding in the elaboration of a Maitland mobilization guide by determining the positive effects in the reduction of the clinical picture of cervicogenic headaches in industrial technology workers, related to pain intensity, cervical disability and the impact of headache on daily activities.
