Violencia de Pareja y Estado Físico- Emocional de las estudiantes de Trabajo Social de la Universidad Técnica de Ambato

Abstract

Violence is present in every area of daily life, but its specificity within couple relationships have great repercussions for the victim, the different types of violence that women experience deteriorates them physically and emotionally. This research addresses the repercussions of violence in the relationships of female students of Social Work of the Faculty of Jurisprudence and Social Sciences, detailing the physical and emotional aspects that the students feel after being violated. The study has a quantitative approach, with a descriptive and correlational scope, within the population the formula was applied to obtain a sample of the students, giving a total of 131, as a method the hypothetical deductive method was used and a bibliographic and field documentary research was applied. To obtain information on partner violence and the physical and emotional state of the students, two previously validated surveys were taken, to measure whether they suffer from violence, the UNAM survey on "Partner violence in courtship" was applied, and in terms of physical and emotional well-being, the "Health conditions and psychological well-being" project was applied, with a total of 23 questions. The data obtained reflect a great incidence in the students in both their physical and emotional state, in addition to corroborating the need to propose a campaign aimed at both men and women on the need to have healthy relationships and not to inflict any type of violence on the other.
