| Resumen : | La presente investigación se refiere a “La evaluación formativa en el desempeño académico de los estudiantes de séptimo grado paralelos “A”, “B” y “C” de Educación General Básica, de la Unidad Educativa “Vicente Anda Aguirre” del cantón Mocha, provincia de Tungurahua”. La metodología aplicada fue de enfoque cuantitativo; la modalidad aplicada fue bibliográfica porque se apoyó en libros y artículos científicos de interés, de campo porque recoge datos reales del lugar y documental porque trabaja con los listados de las calificaciones de los estudiantes; el nivel de investigación es de tipo exploratorio, descriptivo y de asociación de variables; la técnica utilizada fue la encuesta con su instrumento el cuestionario. La línea de investigación fue de comunicación, sociedad, cultura y tecnología, la novedad científica establece que la evaluación formativa juega un papel importante dentro del proceso de enseñanza aprendizaje debido a que permite un desarrollo integral del discente y a su vez la aplicación de este tipo de evaluación permite obtener mejores resultados académicos por parte de los estudiantes y ajustar la práctica docente en caso de ser necesario. Los resultados de la investigación muestran que la evaluación formativa si incide en el desempeño académico de los estudiantes esto se evidenció tras la comprobación de la hipótesis planteada por medio de la medida estadística y del chi cuadrado; la continua aplicación de este tipo de evaluación ha permitido que el desempeño en las actividades escolares y complementarias por parte de los estudiantes sea sin mayor problema y que sus calificaciones se encuentren en un rango de 8 y 9 sobre 10. |
| Descripción : | The present investigation refers to "The formative evaluation in the academic performance of parallel seventh grade student’s "A", "B" and "C" of Basic General Education, of the "Vicente Anda Aguirre" Educational Unit of the Mocha canton, province of Tungurahua. The methodology applied was a quantitative approach; the applied modality was bibliographic because it was supported by books and scientific articles of interest, field because it collects real data from the place and documentary because it works with the lists of the students' qualifications; the level of research is exploratory, descriptive and association of variables; the technique used was the survey with its instrument the questionnaire. The line of research was communication, society, culture and technology, the scientific novelty establishes that formative evaluation plays an important role in the teaching-learning process because it allows an integral development of the student and in turn the application of this type of evaluation allows students to obtain better academic results and adjust the teaching practice if necessary.
