| Abstract: | La presente investigación tiene como objetivo determinar el nivel de incidencia de la Sobreprotección de los padres en el Desarrollo Integral de los niños con Necesidades Educativas Especiales (NEE) asociadas a una discapacidad realizada en el subnivel elemental de Educación General Básica, de la Unidad Educativa “Bolívar”. La metodología empleada permitió la medición cualitativa y el análisis numéricoestadístico de datos; con el fin de indagar las acciones que los padres realizan al presentar culpa y desconfianza sobre el estilo de crianza que tienen con sus hijos. Se adoptó la modalidad descriptiva y exploratoria para narrar características propias de los estudiantes con NEE; así también la modalidad bibliográfica permitió realizar revisiones de documentos relacionados con la sobreprotección y el desarrollo integral. Para la obtención de resultados se aplicaron encuestas a padres de familia y docentes, en la cual se pudo apreciar la influencia de la sobreprotección en el desarrollo integral. Según los resultados proporcionados el 42% de padres de familia conocía el termino sobreprotección y el 61% de docentes no consideraba que exista autonomía ni inclusión en los niños con NEE. Por lo que se hace un llamado a los docentes y padres de familia para coordinar acciones que el niño pueda realizar independientemente de su discapacidad. |
| Description: | The objective of this research is to determine the level of incidence of parental overprotection in the Integral Development of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) associated to a disability in the elementary sub-level of General Basic Education, of the "Bolivar" Educational Unit. The methodology used allowed the qualitative measurement and the numerical-statistical analysis of data; with the purpose of investigating the actions that parents perform when they present guilt and mistrust about the style of upbringing they have with their children. The descriptive and exploratory modality was adopted to narrate the characteristics of students with SEN; the bibliographic modality also allowed the review of documents related to overprotection and integral development. In order to obtain results, surveys were applied to parents and teachers, in which the influence of overprotection on integral development could be appreciated. According to the results provided, 42% of parents knew the term overprotection and 61% of teachers did not consider that there is autonomy or inclusion in children with SEN. Therefore, a call is made to teachers and parents to coordinate actions that the child can perform regardless of his or her disability. |
