| Resumen : | La EMAPA-A se encarga del desarrollo, mantenimiento y operatividad de la infraestructura instalada para la dotación de servicios básicos de agua potable y alcantarillado. La misma cuenta con la certificación de la Norma ISO 9001:2015 que establece un estándar de calidad en los servicios otorgados. Cuentan también con la normativa ISO 17025 que certifica el funcionamiento de los laboratorios de ensayo y calibración del agua potable. La finalidad es determinar el nivel de madurez empresarial, así conocer en qué rango se encuentra dicha madurez, estableciendo directrices para los niveles inferiores al aceptable asegurando el éxito organizacional. La importancia radica en la necesidad de evaluar a la única entidad pública que brinda el vital servicio de agua potable y alcantarillado ya que su funcionamiento se encuentra directamente relacionado con la producción de productos y servicios, higiene, salud, alimentación y el estilo de vida de los ciudadanos ambateños. El instrumento de medición pertenece a la Norma ISO 9004:2018 y se aplicó a los responsables de los procesos detallados. Siendo la presente investigación de campo y de enfoque cuantitativo. Determinando así que la mayoría de los procesos se encuentran que un rango de excelencia “Nivel 4”. Se concluye que las áreas evaluadas cumplen con procesos estandarizados, documentados y difundidos. Se puede entender que la empresa se encuentra muy cerca del éxito organizacional y podría cumplir con el nivel objetivo de madurez si se aplica un sistema continuo de monitoreo y medición de los procesos más riguroso. |
| Descripción : | EMAPA-A is in charge of the development, maintenance and operation of the installed infrastructure for the provision of basic drinking water and sewerage services. It has the ISO 9001: 2015 certification that establishes a quality standard in the services provided. They also have the ISO 17025 standard that certifies the operation of drinking water testing and calibration laboratories. The purpose is to determine the level of business maturity, thus knowing in what range this maturity is, establishing guidelines for levels lower than acceptable, ensuring organizational success. The importance lies in the need to evaluate the only public entity that provides the vital service of drinking water and sewerage since its operation is directly related to the production of products and services, hygiene, health, food and the lifestyle of Ambateño citizens. The measuring instrument belongs to the ISO 9004: 2018 Standard and was applied to those responsible for the detailed processes. Being the present field research and quantitative approach. Thus determining that most of the processes are found to have a "Level 4" rank of excellence. It is concluded that the evaluated areas comply with standardized, documented and disseminated processes. It can be understood that the company is very close to organizational success and could meet the target level of maturity if a more rigorous continuous monitoring and measurement system of the processes is applied. |
