Diseño de las obras de arte de la alternativa vial Shuyo – Pinllopata en el tramo km 0 + 000 – 4 + 000 perteneciente a los cantones Pujilí y Pangua de la provincia de Cotopaxi

Abstract

The objective of this technical project is to design the works of art, pavement structure of the section from Km 0 + 000 to 4 + 000 of a local road that connects Shuyo and Pinllopata, for which a topography and geometric design, the same that will benefit the economy and communication to the inhabitants of the sector. Soil studies were carried out to determine its properties such as: Granulometry, Plasticity Limits and C.B.R which provided data for the structural design of the flexible pavement, using the 1993 A.A.S.H.T.O Method. The works of art were designed using INAMHI meteorological data and topography to guarantee the serviceability and safety of the road for a long period of time. Once this study is finished, it will be delivered to the local government of Angamarca as a contribution from Universidad Técnica de Ambato to the community so that it can be used in the way it deems appropriate.
