dc.descriptionEl presente trabajo trata de un caso clínico titulado: “LESIÓN DEL NERVIO CIÁTICO POPLÍTEO EXTERNO DE MIEMBRO INFERIOR IZQUIERDO POR SECUELA DE ARTROPLASTIA DE CADERA” el mismo hace referencia a una Paciente de 68 años de edad, sexo femenino, al momento se encuentra jubilada pero se ocupaba como vendedora en un frigorífico. El principal antecedente patológico de la paciente es la Luxación Congénita de cadera, la cual no fue tratada y con el transcurso de los años dio origen a la presencia de artrosis de cadera, por este motivo la paciente fue sometida a una intervención quirúrgica de una artroplastia de cadera izquierda que tuvo como complicación una lesión del nervio ciático. Con este diagnóstico la paciente fue remitida a fisioterapia donde se encuentra en tratamiento continuo, con una mejoría notable en su déficit sensitivo, pero con ciertas deficiencias en el área motora.es_ES
dc.description.abstractThis paper is a case report entitled “INJURY PERONEAL NERVE MEMBER OF LEFT FOR SEQUEL BOTTOM OF THA " It refers to a patient 68 years of age, female sex, when it is retired but was engaged as a saleswoman in a refrigerator. The main pathological history of the patient is the congenital hip dislocation which was not treated with over the years gave rise to the presence of arthritis of the hip, why the patient underwent surgery arthroplasty left hip had as a complication sciatic nerve injury. With this diagnosis, the patient was referred to physical therapy where he is in continuous treatment, with a marked improvement in their sensory deficit and while still deficiencies found in the motor area.es_ES
