Abstract
The intestinal microbiota is characterized by a set of living microorganisms, including bacteria, viruses, archaea, and fungi, which are generally located in the large intestine (gastrointestinal tract). Bronchial asthma is a condition known to be inflammatory and generally chronic at the level of the respiratory tract, characterized by a series of episodes that are usually recurrent within the respiratory tract, cough, which affects a large number of people worldwide. Naturally, the intestinal microbiota protects us from the predisposition against a set of pathogens, which can generally create a series of imbalances, which is prone to the development of diseases at the immunological level. Under this context, this type of study emphasizes the importance of developing a better perspective and understanding about the management and systematization of this type of conditions. In order to carry it out, a bibliographic review of 20 publications made in different web bases was used, finding results only in (Google scholar, Science Direct). The articles found were evaluated with quality standards using PRISMA, CONSORT and STROBE criteria. The following DeCS/MeSH terms were used: ("Gut Microbiota"[Mesh]) AND "Asthma"[Mesh] // (("Microbiome"[Mesh]) AND "Asthma"[Mesh]) // ("Intestinal Microbiota"[Mesh]) AND "Asthma"[Mesh] // ("Asthma/immunology"[Mesh]) AND "Gut Microbiota"[Mesh] // (("Asthma/therapy"[Mesh]) AND "Gut Microbiota"[Mesh]) AND "Disease Management"[Mesh], with the help of the Boolean operator "AND". Inclusion /exclusión criteria, quality/validity, and relevance of the different studies found were used to evaluat e the quality of the works found
Description
Se utilizaron los siguientes términos DeCS/MeSH: ("Gut Microbiota"[Mesh]) AND "Asthma"[Mesh] // (("Microbiom e"[Mesh]) AND "Asthma"[Mesh]) // ("Intesti n al Microbiota"[Mesh]) AND "Asthma"[Mesh] // ("Asthma/immunology"[Mesh]) AND "Gut Microbiota"[Mesh] // (("Asthma/therapy"[Mesh]) AND "Gut Microbiota"[Mesh ]) AND "Disease Management"[Mesh], con ayuda del operador boleano “AND”.
