Abstract
La presente investigacion titulada “Los hábitos de estudio y rendimiento académico de los estudiantes de primero y segundo de Bachillerato de la Unidad Educativa Pasa”, unicada en la parroquia Pasa, a 40 minutos de la Ciudad de Ambato, tuvo como objetivo determinar la influencia de los hábitos de estudio en el rendimiento académico de los estudiantes de primero y segundo de Bachillerato de dicha institución”. El estudio se realizó con 75 estudiantes, a quienes se les aplicó el Inventario de hábitos de estudio de Gilbert Wrenn y se analizaron sus calificaciones. Se propuso una metodología mixta con un nivel de investigación descriptiva, exploratoria y correlacional, utilizando tanto modalidades bibliográficas y documentales como de campo. Para validar la hipótesis, se emplearon los estadísticos Tau_b Kendal y Rho de Spearman, los cuales confirmaron la hipótesis alterna. Los resultados indicaron que los hábitos de estudio tienen una influencia significativa en el rendimiento académico de los estudiantes de primero y segundo de Bachillerato de la Unidad Educativa Pasa.
Description
The present research titled “The study habits and academic performance of first- and second-year Baccalaureate students of the Pasa Educational Unit”, which is located in the Pasa parish, 40 minutes from the City of Ambato. Its objective was to determine the influence of study habits on the academic performance of first- and second-year Baccalaureate students of the “Pasa” Educational Unit. The study was carried out with 75 students to whom a Gilbert Wrenn Study Habits Inventory and student grades were administered. A mixed methodology was proposed, with a descriptive, exploratory and correlational level of research. Likewise, the bibliographic modality - documentary and field was used. To validate the hypothesis, the statistics Tau_b Kendal and Spearman's Rho were used, which validated the alternative hypothesis. The result is that study habits influence the academic performance of the first- and second-year Baccalaureate students of the “Pasa” Educational Unit.
