Abstract
El presente proyecto tiene como finalidad realizar un análisis del financiamiento de la industria cementera ecuatoriana, considerando que, la cultura bursátil de nuestro país ha sido un limitante para que estas empresas prioricen esta opción al momento de buscar financiamiento. Esta investigación consideró los principales indicadores financieros de las empresas participantes en el mercado de valores para conocer su situación financiera en el período estudiado. Es importante mencionar que, las compañías de este sector forman un oligopolio bien establecido en el país, pues tienen su participación de mercado bien marcada. La metodología utilizada fue cuantitativa y cualitativa y la población tomada fue del 66,67% de las empresas cementeras, mismas que son participantes activas en el mercado bursátil.
Description
The purpose of this project is to carry out an analysis of the financing of the Ecuadorian cement industry, considering that the stock market culture of our country has been a limitation for these companies to prioritize this option when seeking financing. This investigation considered the main financial indicators of the companies participating in the stock market to know their financial situation during the period studied. It is important to mention that, companies in this sector form a well-established oligopoly in the country, since they have a well-marked market share. The methodology used was quantitative and qualitative and the population taken was 66.67% of the cement companies, which are active participants in the stock market.
