| dc.description | This research project aims to analyze the behavior of the business growth of the yarn manufacturing sector and its relationship with the age, size and market share of companies in Ecuador.The analysis was carried out in the period 2006 - 2017, using data from secondary sources extracted from the Superintendency of Companies, Securities and Insurance of Ecuador; and from the Internal Revenue Service.The treatment of the variables was carried out in two stages, the descriptive and experimental phase for hypothesis testing, the latter using the econometric model of multinomial Logit for which the free software Gretl was used.One of the findings in the yarn manufacturing sector researched in Ecuador is that, the companies that have the highest growth rate by size distribution are the youngest societies.From the econometric model, an inverse relationship is obtained between the age and growth of companies, this is how the hypothesis is verified. In the same way there is a growth in different proportions within the classification established by size where the main characteristic of the sector which has a growth rate between 9% and 14%. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | El presente proyecto de investigación tiene como objetivo analizar el comportamiento del crecimiento empresarial del sector de fabricación de hilo y su relación con la edad, tamaño y cuota de mercado de las compañías en el Ecuador. El análisis se realizó en el periodo 2006 - 2017, donde se utilizaron datos de fuentes secundarias extraídas desde la Superintendencia de Compañías, Valores y Seguros del Ecuador; y del Servicio de Rentas Internas. El tratamiento de las variables fue realizado en dos etapas, la fase descriptiva y experimental para la comprobación de Hipótesis, esta última mediante el modelo econométrico de Logit multinomial para el cual se utilizó el software libre Gretl. Uno de los hallazgos en el sector de fabricación de Hilo investigado en el Ecuador es que, las compañías que tienen mayor índice de crecimiento por distribución de tamaño son las sociedades más jóvenes. Del modelo econométrico, se obtiene una relación inversa entre la edad y el crecimiento de las empresas, es así como se comprueba la Hipótesis planteada. De la misma manera existe un crecimiento en diferentes proporciones dentro de la clasificación establecida por tamaño donde la característica principal del sector el cual posee un índice de crecimiento entre el 9% y 14%. | es_ES |
