Abstract
Description
The present research takes as a purpose to realize a quantitative analysis, of the employment
and investment like one of the most relating to the moment topics of the current economy.
The employment is a potential indicator in relation to the investment that it is considered to be
excellent for the society and the economic factor, since it helps to measure significantly that
percentage of money is attracted to the national economy. The analysis was realized using
information of secondary resources from the Ecuadorian Institute of Statistic and Censuses
(INEC) and the World Bank. The treatment of the topics was analyzed in two parts,
descriptive and experimental for the hypothesis are right, the latter by means of the MCO
econometric model, using a Grtl that is a statistical software. One of the main conclusions is
that the evolution of the labor market is marked by a deterioration, reflecting a negative
behavior in the indicator of the employment. By what it is observed in the increase of the
valuation of underemployment, and an increase of not stipendiary employment. The increase
of the underemployment is explained principally by persons who join to the labor market last
year, originated from the economically inactive population, and for persons who were in an
employment adapted in 2014 and they lost it in 2016.
