Abstract
La presente investigación se refiere al: “Aprendizaje Basado en Proyectos (ABPRO) y el desempeño académico en la asignatura de Ciencias Naturales en los estudiantes de séptimo grado de la Escuela de Educación General Básica Jerusalén”, este tema es importante porque permite al estudiante que asuma responsabilidades para su aprendizaje, así como la adquisición de actitudes y habilidades para desenvolverse en las clases. Esta investigación fue de nivel exploratorio y descriptivo, ya que permitió analizar un tema poco estudiado en la que se tomó en cuenta las características de la población estudiada. Se aplicó un enfoque cualitativo y cuantitativo por lo que se elaboraron tablas y gráficos de los resultados obtenidos. Se utilizó la modalidad bibliográfica, fuentes confiables obtenidas del repositorio virtual de la Universidad Técnica de Ambato y artículos científicos que facilito el análisis del trabajo. La población que se analizó se encuentra entre un rango de edad de 11 a 12 años, 5 varones y 8 mujeres siendo un total de 13 estudiantes y de 1 docente de Ciencias Naturales. En las conclusiones se estableció que la docente aplica la metodología acorde a las necesidades de los estudiantes y que a metodología ABPro crea situaciones en la que los estudiantes sientan la necesidad de encontrar soluciones a los problemas
Description
The present investigation refers to: "Project-Based Learning (ABPRO) and academic performance in the subject of Natural Sciences in seventh grade students of the Jerusalem Basic General Education School", this topic is important because it allows the student to assume responsibilities for their learning, as well as the acquisition of attitudes and skills to function in class. This research was of an exploratory and descriptive level, since it allowed the analysis of a subject little studied in which the characteristics of the studied population were taken into account. A qualitative and quantitative approach was applied, so tables and graphs of the results obtained were prepared. The bibliographic modality was used, reliable sources obtained from the virtual repository of the Technical University of Ambato and scientific articles that facilitated the analysis of the work. The population that was analyzed is between an age range of 11 to 12 years, 5 men and 8 women, with a total of 13 students and 1 teacher of Natural Sciences. In the conclusions it was established that the teacher applies the methodology according to the needs of the students and that the ABPro methodology creates situations in which the students feel the need to find solutions to problems
