dc.descriptionLa hipertensión arterial es una enfermedad en la cual la fuerza ejercida por la sangre contra las paredes de las arterias es demasiado alta, representando un factor de riesgo importante para contraer diversas enfermedades cardiovasculares, como: enfermedad cardiaca, accidente cerebrovascular, insuficiencia renal y otras complicaciones en la salud. Objetivo: Crear una herramienta que garantice el control adecuado del tratamiento antihipertensivo, mejorando la eficacia del régimen farmacológico y la adherencia del paciente. Metodología: abarca una revisión exhaustiva de la literatura especializada, la validación del contenido por parte de cinco expertos y una prueba piloto compuesta por 83 sujetos, lo que representa el 10% de los pacientes de un centro de salud pública de la provincia de Tungurahua, con base en la Guía de la Práctica Clínica del Ministerio de Salud de Ecuador de 2019. Resultados: La herramienta presenta una validez y confiabilidad aceptables, como lo demuestra su coeficiente alfa de Cronbach global de 0,80, lo que indica una buena confiabilidad del instrumento para el control integral del paciente. Además, el estudio identifica 8 dimensiones: atención médica, exámenes de laboratorio, medicación, factores de riesgo, señales de no tomar la medicación, señales de tener sobredosis, complicaciones y cuidados generales. Conclusión: El artículo presenta una herramienta válida y confiable para controlar el tratamiento hipertensivo.es_ES
dc.description.abstractIntroduction. Arterial hypertension is a disease in which the force exerted by blood against the walls of the arteries is too high, representing an important risk factor for contracting various cardiovascular diseases, such as: heart disease, cerebrovascular accident, renal failure and other complications in health. Objective: To create a tool that guarantees adequate control of antihypertensive treatment, improving the effectiveness of the pharmacological regimen and patient adherence. Methodology: includes an exhaustive review of specialized literature, validation of its content by five experts and a pilot test composed of 83 subjects, which represents 10% of patients in a public health center in the province of Tungurahua, based on the 2019 Clinical Practice Guide of the Ministry of Health of Ecuador. Results: The tool presents acceptable validity and reliability, as demonstrated by its global Cronbach's alpha coefficient of 0.80, which indicates good reliability. instrument for comprehensive patient control. Furthermore, the study identifies 8 dimensions: medical care, laboratory tests, medication, risk factors, signs of not taking medication, signs of having an overdose, complications and general care.
