Abstract

The present research was carried out on the farm of the Technical University of Ambato, in order to quantify the productive and reproductive indices, in which natives fed with 40% inclusion; T1 alfalfa (Medicago sativa), T2 chilca (Baccharis latifolia) and T3 dill (Anethum graveolens). The results were subjected to a completely randomized block design (DBCA), the factor to be blocked was weight. Where reproductive variables were evaluated; % fertility 95.83; 91.65 and 87.48, % abortions 1.45; 1.36 and 1.36%, TCN 2.39; 2.34 and 2.05, TCV 2.16; 2.24 and 1.95, TCD 2.00; 2.00 and 1.9, respectively for each treatment; The only variable that presented a significant difference was TCN where treatment T1 and T2 presented the best litter size at birth 2.39 and 2.34 respectively. While, the results of the productive indices were: PCN 142.27; 127.34 and 137.26 g, PCD 249.56; 229.77 and 253.65 g, PHP 1094.18; 1037.23 and 1039.45 g, PHD 1223.93; 1115.34 and 1148.75 g, % mortality of offspring born 1.51; 1.41 and 1.40, % mortality of offspring at weaning 1.37; 1.56 and 1.34 respectively for each treatment, which did not present significant differences. In addition, a cost analysis was prepared where profitability was measured, with T2 (46.92%) being the most profitable, followed by T3 (46.73%) and T1 (23.15%). Description
