| dc.description | En este proyecto de investigación se hace un análisis del efecto de la política de salvaguardias a las importaciones en el sector automotriz, a través del cual se determina el antes y el después, a fin de observar si existe un impacto de las importaciones. Se realiza un análisis general donde se observa cómo se han afectado las relaciones comerciales debido a la política de restricción. Para identificar el impacto sobre las importaciones se utilizó el método de regresión discontinua, además de un modelo de regresión múltiple se encontró, que las restricciones de importaciones tienen un impacto negativo sobre el sector automotriz, globalmente hablando; mientras que sobre las guarniciones de freno montadas el impacto es positivo. Se puede atribuir que entre los años 2013 y 2014 se cambió la normativa para la importación de las autopartes de los vehículos; esto se debe al aumento de los cupos de importación. El impacto negativo que se observa en el sector automotriz se debe a las otras actividades las cuales afectaron negativamente con medidas aplicadas que no fueron beneficiosas para el sector. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | In this research project, an analysis is made of the effect of the safeguard policy on imports in the automotive sector, through which the before and after is determined, in order to see if there is an impact of imports. A general analysis is carried out showing how trade relations have been affected due to the restriction policy. To identify the impact on imports we used the discontinuous regression method, in addition to a multiple regression model was found, that import restrictions have a negative impact on the automotive sector, globally speaking; while on the mounted brake linings the impact is positive. It can be attributed that between the years 2013 and 2014 the regulation was changed for the importation of the autoparts of the vehicles; this is due to the increase in import quotas. The negative impact observed in the automotive sector is due to other activities which negatively affected applied measures that were not beneficial to the sector. | es_ES |
