dc.descriptionLa presente investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar, la relación existente entre la ansiedad precompetitiva y las características psicológicas relacionadas al rendimiento deportivo de los futbolistas de la máxima categoría, en el Club Deportivo Macará de la ciudad de Ambato. La aplicación de los reactivos se realizó a una muestra total de 37 personas de sexo masculino de entre 18 y 34 años de edad. La variable de ansiedad precompetitiva fue evaluada con el Inventario de Ansiedad Precompetitiva (CSAI-2) de Martens (1990), y la variable de las características psicológicas relacionadas al rendimiento deportivo fue evaluada con el Cuestionario de Características Psicológicas Relacionadas al Rendimiento Deportivo (CPRD) de Mahoney y Perkins (1987). El método estadístico usado para comprobar la hipótesis fue el Chi-cuadrado (xa), con el que se verificó que no existe relación entre la ansiedad precompetitiva y las características psicológicas relacionadas al rendimiento deportivo.es_ES
dc.description.abstractThe objective of the present investigation was to determine the relationship between Pre-Competitive Anxiety and Psychological Characteristics Related to Sports Performance of soccer players of the highest category, at the Macará Sports Club in the city of Ambato. The application of the reagents was carried out in a total sample of 37 male people between 18 and 34 years of age. The precompetitive anxiety variable was evaluated with the Precompetitive Anxiety Inventory (CSAI-2) of Martens (1990), while the performance variable was evaluated with the Mahoney and Perkins Psychological Characteristics of Sports Performance Questionnaire (CPRD) (1987). The statistical method used to verify the hypothesis was the Chi-square (xa), with which it was verified that there is no relationship between precompetitive anxiety and psychological characteristics related to sports performancees_ES
