| dc.description | This study on economic factors and crime in the province of Tungurahua, investigates the relationship between multidimensional poverty and unemployment with respect to crime during the period 2018-2022 to analyse how socio-economic problems of families influence them in certain cases to induce them to carry out illegal acts (crime). For this purpose, information from the National Institute of Statistics and Census (INEC) on the crimes with the highest incidence in the province of Tungurahua and the National Survey of Employment, Unemployment and Underemployment (ENEMDU) was used. In terms of the methodological section, in the first part a descriptive analysis was carried out to analyse trend measures with the different categories of the independent variable, followed by a brief time series analysis that allowed us to identify the variant of the Augmented Dickey-Fuller (ADF) contrast relevant for evaluating each of the variables over time. Finally, a regression model was used to explain the relationship between multidimensional poverty and crime. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | Este estudio sobre los factores económicos y la delincuencia en la provincia de Tungurahua, indaga sobre la relación de la pobreza multidimensional y el desempleo con respecto a la delincuencia durante el periodo 2018-2022 para analizar cómo influye los problemas socioeconómicos de las familias para que en ciertos casos les induzca a realizar actos ilícitos (delinquir). Para ello se utilizó la información del Instituto Nacional de Estadísticas y Censos (INEC) sobre los delitos con mayor incidencia en la provincia de Tungurahua y sobre la Encuesta Nacional de Empleo, Desempleo y Subempleo (ENEMDU). En cuanto a la sección metodológica, en la primera parte se realizó un análisis descriptivo para analizar medidas de tendencia con las diferentes categorías de la variable independiente, posteriormente se desarrolló un breve análisis series temporales que permitió identificar la variante del contraste de Dickey – Fuller Aumentado (ADF) pertinente para evaluar cada una de las variables a lo largo del tiempo. Finalmente, para explicar la relación entre la pobreza multidimensional y la delincuencia se utilizó un modelo de regresión. | es_ES |
