The growing need to adapt interior spaces in response to the rise of teleworking, virtual education, and collaborative environments has highlighted the limitations of traditional construction systems such as masonry, drywall, and fixed partitions, which do not allow for rapid and efficient spatial reconfiguration. These rigid solutions force users to resort to permanent or improvised interventions, which increases costs, prolongs installation times, and reduces ergonomic usability. In compact homes, small offices, and educational environments, this problem becomes especially evident, since current trends point toward flexible and functional spatial configurations. This research consisted of developing a detachable assembly mechanism that would allow different partition panels to be easily assembled and manipulated, thereby facilitating the reorganization of interior spaces. The methodology used combined Design Thinking with methods based on direct observation, interviews, and user analysis, along with projective tools such as SCAMPER and the seven-question matrix. These resources made it possible to identify issues related to the excessive weight of panels, their lack of stability, the need for intensive use of specialized tools, and the time required by conventional systems. Additionally, the process incorporated technical criteria related to ergonomics, modularity, dimensional standardization, and manufacturing feasibility through conventional means, including polymer injection or 3D printing. The project resulted in ENSAMBLOK, a modular system composed of a structural base, a central cube equipped with pegs on each side, and interlocking blocks that allow tool-free connections through controlled pressure and intuitive alignment. This system significantly reduces installation time, decreasing the previous duration of three to five hours in non-modular versions to approximately one hour in the modular iteration.
