| dc.description | The research carried out was based on studying the relationship between the trade sector and the economic growth of Ecuador, for this, various objectives were set that allowed the study of the variables both separately and together. The data used for this research was collected from secondary sources such as the Central Bank of Ecuador (BCE), the National Institute of Statistics and Censuses (INEC) and the Internal Revenue Service (SRI). The results obtained by studying the variables separately and carrying out a theoretical review of each one of them allowed us to determine their evolution and variation over time; In order to study them as a whole, that is, the relationship between the variables, a simple linear regression econometric model was carried out using the Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) method, where the data on the rate of variation of the GDP and the data of the variation rate of the GDP of the commerce sector revealing that there is a positive relationship between the variables studied in the period 2009-2019 | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | La investigación realizada se basó en estudiar la relación entre el sector comercio y el crecimiento económico del Ecuador, para ello, se plantearon diversos objetivos que permitieron el estudio de las variables tanto por separado como en conjunto. Los datos usados para esta investigación, fueron recopilados de fuentes secundarias como el Banco Central del Ecuador (BCE), el Instituto Nacional de Estadísticas y Censos (INEC) y el Servicio de Rentas Internas (SRI). Los resultados que se obtuvieron al estudiar las variables por separado y realizar una revisión teoría de cada una de ellas permitieron determinar la evolución y variación de las mismas en el tiempo; para estudiarlas en conjunto, es decir, la relación que tienen las variables, se realizó un modelo econométrico de regresión lineal simple usando el método de Mínimos Cuadrados Ordinarios (MCO), donde se utilizaron los datos de la tasa de variación del PIB y los datos de la tasa de variación del PIB del sector comercio dando a conocer que existe una relación positiva entre las variables estudiadas en el periodo 2009-2019. | es_ES |
