Abstract
The objective of the research work was to evaluate Trichoderma Harzianum for the control
of Oidiopsis (Leveillula taurica) in the already established 6-month-old pepper (Capsicum
annuum) crop. The trial was carried out in the Izamba parish on the property of Mrs. Nancy Renee
Guamán Llugsa. Trichoderma Harzianum doses were analyzed: 5 cc/l (D1), 7.5 cc/l (D2), 10 cc/l
(D3), the treatments were applied foliarly by spraying. The variables evaluated were: the
percentage of severity, the percentage of incidence and the weight of the fruit. For the execution
of the trial, a completely randomized block design (DBCA) was used with three treatments plus a
control in three repetitions, 12 experimental units were established. The percentage of severity was
calculated using the free software IMAGEJ, the data were subjected to a Tukey significance test
at 5%. The results show that the D3 dose at 45 days recorded an incidence of 7.11%, severity
0.52% and an average fruit weight of 91.48 gr/fruit, based on the results suggest using the D3

El trabajo de investigación tuvo como objetivo Evaluar Trichoderma Harzianum para el
control de Oidiopsis (Leveillula taurica) en el cultivo de pimiento (Capsicum annuum) ya
establecido de 6 meses de edad. El ensayo se realizó en la parroquia Izamba en la propiedad de la
señora Nancy Renee Guamán Llugsa. Se analizaron dosis de Trichoderma Harzianum: 5 cc/l (D1),
7.5 cc/l (D2), 10 cc/l (D3), los tratamientos se aplicaron de manera foliar mediante pulverización.
Las variables evaluadas fueron: el porcentaje de severidad, el porcentaje de incidencia y el peso
del fruto. Para la ejecución del ensayo se utilizó un diseño de Bloques completamente al Azar
(DBCA) con tres tratamientos más un testigo en tres repeticiones, se establecieron 12 unidades
experimentales. El porcentaje de severidad se calculó con el usó del software libre IMAGEJ, los
datos se sometieron a una prueba de significancia Tukey al 5%. Los resultados muestran que la
dosis D3 a los 45 días registraron una incidencia de 7.11%, severidad 0.52% y un peso promedio
de frutos de 91.48 gr/fruto, en base a los resultados sugieren usar la dosis D3 Trichoderma
Harzianum para obtener menores porcentajes de incidencia, severidad y mayor rendimiento
