Exportación de la madera y su impacto en el empleo del Ecuador, un análisis retrospectivo

| dc.description | In the present investigation, it is observed how the exports of the timber industry have influenced employment in the country, starting with the review of the main theories of international trade, from the first theory of Adam Smith to the theory of Hecksher-Ollin. For this investigative work, all the timber exporting companies in Ecuador were used, the economically active population was obtained from the INEC, an econometric model of autoregressive VAR vectors of order 3 was proposed, that is, after having extracted two differences from the variables, so that the model is stationary and to be able to apply the VAR, having as a result that while the exports of the timber industry grow, employment in Ecuador increases, that is, the relationship between these variables is directly proportional. As a conclusion, it was obtained that the null hypothesis of the work is accepted, that is, that timber exports do directly affect the work of Ecuador. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | En la presente investigación se observa como las exportaciones de la industria maderera han influenciado en el empleo del país, empezando con la revisión de las principales teorías de comercio internacional, desde la primera teoría de Adam Smith hasta llegar a la teoría de Hecksher-Ollin. Para este trabajo investigativo se ocupó todas las empresas exportadoras de madera en el Ecuador, la población económicamente activa se obtuvo del INEC, se planteó un modelo econométrico de vectores autoregresivos VAR de orden 3, para que el modelo sea estacionario y poder aplicar el VAR, teniendo como resultado que mientras crezca las exportaciones de la industria maderera, el empleo del Ecuador aumenta, es decir la relación entre estas variables es directamente proporcional. Como conclusión se obtuvo que la hipótesis nula del trabajo se acepta, es decir que las exportaciones madereras si inciden directamente en el trabajo del Ecuador. | es_ES |
