| dc.description | The present investigation focuses on Venezuelan migration and the socioeconomic indicators of Ecuador during the period 1997-2020, the purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between Venezuelan migration with the socioeconomic indicators of the country. The study is of a correlational nature, it is also a documentary bibliographical research, based on secondary data obtained through official sources such as the INEC and the Central Bank, for the analysis of the data an Autoregressive Vector model (VAR) was applied. First verifying that there is no cointegration between the variables through the Engel and Granger test. On the other hand, as the most important result of the analysis of Venezuelan migration, it was found that approximately 85 percent of the Venezuelans who were in the country left for other destinations in recent years, concluding that Venezuelan migration does not present a significant relationship with the socioeconomic indicators of Ecuador during the period studied, since it only presented a relationship with unemployment. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | La presente investigación se enfocada a la migración venezolana y los indicadores socioeconómicos del Ecuador durante el periodo 1997-2020, la finalidad de este estudio es determinar la relación existente entre la migración venezolana con los indicadores socioeconómicos del país. El estudio es de carácter correlacional, además se trata de una investigación bibliográfica documental, basada en datos secundarios obtenidos a través de fuentes oficiales como el INEC y el Banco Central, para el análisis de los datos se aplicó un modelo de Vectores Autorregresivos (VAR), verificando primeramente que no exista cointegración entre las variables a través de la prueba Engel y Granger. Por otra parte, como resultado más importante del análisis de la migración venezolana se encontró que aproximadamente el 85 por ciento de los venezolanos que se encontraban en el país salieron hacia otros destinos en los últimos años, concluyendo que la migración venezolana no presenta una relación significativa con los indicadores socioeconómicos del Ecuador durante el periodo estudiado, puesto a que únicamente presentó relación con el desempleo. | es_ES |
