Resiliencia y empoderamiento en estudiantes de familias monoparentales

| dc.description | Las familias monoparentales se caracterizan por la presencia de un solo progenitor que asume la responsabilidad de la crianza de sus hijos, en los últimos tiempos la monoparentalidad ha aumentado significativamente a nivel mundial experimentando dificultades y desafíos sociales, económicos y sobre todo emocionales a nivel familiar. El objetivo principal de la investigación es analizar la relación entre la resiliencia y el empoderamiento en estudiantes de familias monoparentales de la Unidad Educativa <Gabriela Mistral= de la ciudad de Latacunga - Ecuador, utilizando una metodología de enfoque cuantitativo con un nivel descriptivocorrelacional, la población del estudio consistió de 31 estudiantes de bachillerato general unificado, con un rango de edad entre 15 y 17 años, y sus respectivas madres. Para el estudio de la variable resiliencia, se utilizó el cuestionario RESI-M de Palomar & Gómez (2010) el cual está compuesto por 5 dimensiones de 43 preguntas, y, para la variable empoderamiento, se usó el cuestionario IMEM de Hernández & García (2008) que contiene 7 dimensiones de 34 preguntas. Los resultados indicaron que no existe una relación significativa entre la resiliencia y el empoderamiento en los estudiantes, además se pudo encontrar que el nivel de resiliencia en los estudiantes es medio, lo que indica que aunque saben actuar ante situaciones adversas, aún enfrentan limitaciones para desarrollar su capacidad resiliente, del mismo modo, el empoderamiento de las madres tiene un nivel medio, ya que, aunque tienen el control de su vida, existen barreras que impiden desarrollar por completo su autonomía. | |
| dc.description.abstract | Single-parent families are characterized by the presence of a single parent who assumes responsibility for the upbringing of their children, in recent times single-parenthood has increased significantly worldwide, experiencing social, economic and above all emotional difficulties and challenges at the family level. The main objective of the research is to analyze the relationship between resilience and empowerment in students from single-parent families of the "Gabriela Mistral" Educational Unit of the city of Latacunga - Ecuador, using a quantitative approach methodology with a descriptive-correlational level, the study population consisted of 31 unified general high school students, with an age range between 15 and 17 years. and their respective mothers. For the study of the resilience variable, the RESI-M questionnaire by Palomar & Gómez (2010) was used, which is composed of 5 dimensions of 43 questions, and, for the empowerment variable, the IMEM questionnaire by Hernández & García (2008) was used, which contains 7 dimensions of 34 questions.
