Abstract
El presente trabajo de investigación tiene como objetivo principal estudiar la relación
entre la fotografía y las artesanías del cantón Quero siendo una herramienta muy útil
que puede ayudar a llegar a una audiencia nueva tanto nacional como internacional.
La metodología aplicada fue dentro de un enfoque cualitativo, inductivo
observacional, de la misma forma se aplicó un diseño no experimental transversal y
de un alcance de carácter fenomenológico, pues se basó en la experiencia y
cotidianidad de los temas a analizar. Para el levantamiento de información se
seleccionó una muestra no probabilística por conveniencia, debido a la facilidad de
acceso y la disponibilidad de las personas. En este caso se eligió a los artesanos del
cantón Quero a criterio de la investigadora, por medio de los instrumentos fichas del
INPC y una guía de entrevista previamente validados por profesionales de la rama.
Los resultados que se obtuvo de la investigación, se identificó 3 artesanos que aún
conservan los materiales, herramientas y procesos de elaboración para presentar su
historia, arte y tradición. Mediante las entrevistas se identificó varios criterios en
donde se menciona que es necesario utilizar una iluminación adecuada y un encuadre
apropiado para destacar el trabajo de los artesanos. Las fotografías que muestran el
proceso de creación de un producto artesanal pueden ser muy atractivas y ayudar a
los clientes a entender el valor, esencia de generaciones pasadas, el arte y el esfuerzo
que se pone en cada artesanía. Finalmente se propuso elaborar una revista digital
mediante un registro fotográfico sobre la elaboración y comercialización de las
artesanías del cantón, con el fin de revalorizar la cultura y tradición del lugar, para
así poder incrementar la oferta y demanda turística generando ingresos para las
comunidades locales.
Description
The main objective of this research work is to analyze the use of photography for the
promotion of handicrafts in the canton of Quero, being a very useful tool that can
help reach a new audience both nationally and internationally. The methodology
applied was within a qualitative, inductive observational approach, in the same way a
non-experimental transversal design was applied and of a phenomenological nature,
since it was based on the experience and daily life of the topics to be analyzed. For
the collection of information, a non-probabilistic sample was selected by
convenience, due to the ease of access and availability of the people. In this case, the
artisans of the canton of Quero were chosen at the discretion of the researcher, using
INPC's data sheets and an interview guide previously validated by professionals in
the field. The results obtained from the research identified 3 artisans who still
conserve the materials, tools and elaboration processes to present their history, art
and tradition. Through the interviews, several criteria were identified in which it was
mentioned that it is necessary to use adequate lighting and an appropriate framing to
highlight the work of the artisans. Photographs that show the process of creating a
handicraft product can be very attractive and help customers understand the value,
essence of past generations, art and effort that is put into each craft. Finally, it was
proposed to elaborate a digital magazine by means of a photographic record on the
elaboration and commercialization of the crafts of the canton, in order to revalue the
culture and tradition of the place.
