The present study analyzed the influence of cooperative games on the development of flexibility in Middle General Basic Education students at Unidad Educative Josué School. The research was conducted under a quantitative approach with an explanatory scope and a pre-experimental design, applied to a census sample of 31 students. For data collection, the Sit and Reach physical test was used through a pretest and a posttest, complemented by the execution of a lesson plan focused on improving physical fitness and motor cooperation. Prior to the comparative analysis, the principle of data normality was verified using the Shapiro-Wilk test, confirming a normal distribution in both the pretest (p = 0.174) and the posttest (p = 0.157). This consistency in normality determined the feasibility of applying the parametric paired-samples Student's t-test. Descriptive results showed a positive evolution in student performance, with an increase between the mean achieved in the pretest (M = 0.484) and that obtained in the posttest (M = 0.494). At the inferential level, the analysis yielded a statistical value of t(30) = -1.864 and a bilateral significance level of p = 0.032. Since this value is lower than the critical threshold established in scientific research (0.05), the null hypothesis is rejected, demonstrating with statistical rigor that the methodological proposal based on cooperative games generated a real, positive, and highly significant impact on the development of physical fitness in the study population.
