Abstract

The objective of this research was to evaluate the agronomic performance of the Brassica oleracea L. var. Avenger crop after the application of three organic foliar fertilizers at different frequencies to establish their efficiency and the optimal frequency for the best crop growth and yield. To this end, an experiment was conducted under field conditions at the Querochaca Experimental Farm, using a completely randomized block design with a 3x3+1 factorial arrangement, consisting of 10 treatments and three replications. The number of leaves at five time points, plant height, days to head formation, head diameter, head weight, and total yield were evaluated and subjected to analysis of variance and Tukey's test at the 5% significance level. The results showed that treatment P3F3 (MAX FOLIAR applied once at 45 days) yielded the highest values for variables such as final plant height, head diameter, head weight, and total yield, reaching 19.233 kg, significantly higher than the control, which only yielded 8.073 kg. The discussion suggests that the greater effectiveness of this treatment could be related to improved nutrient assimilation during critical crop stages, hich favored more vigorous vegetative growth and greater biomass accumulation. Overall, the findings confirm that organic foliar application positively affects broccoli productivity, and that the extended 45-day application frequency constitutes an efficient and viable strategy for improving productivity under the soil and climate conditions of Querochaca
