dc.descriptionThe Atahualpa Educational Unit, located in the rural parish of the same name, is a public institution founded in 1976, provides education to children and adolescents in the town and nearby sectors, consists of the levels of initial education, basic general education, middle, higher and high school, in addition to having 4 technical specialties. This project proposes the creation of a 2D animated short film to strengthen the historical memory and institutional identity of the Atahualpa Educational Unit. Ignorance of the history of educational institutions is a problem that can negatively affect students' sense of belonging. Through an attractive and accessible visual narrative, the animation seeks to rescue and transmit key events, characters and values of the history of the institution. The methodology includes the use of the deductive method, with a mixed approach, and the application of documentary research, interviews with members of the institution, survey applied to students, and the design of a script adapted to the animated format. The final product aims to highlight the relevance of historical memory, as well as to encourage greater student engagement in their institutional environment. This project demonstrates how the use of creative tools can contribute to preserving the historical legacy of an institution in the school environment.
dc.description.abstractEn la Unidad Educativa Atahualpa, ubicada en la parroquia rural del mismo nombre, es una institución pública fundada en el año 1976, brinda educación a los niños, niñas y adolescentes de la localidad y sectores cercanos, consta de los niveles de educación inicial, educación general básica, media, superior y bachillerato, además de tener 4 especialidades técnicas. El presente proyecto propone la creación de un cortometraje de animación 2D para fortalecer la memoria histórica, y la identidad institucional de la Unidad Educativa Atahualpa. El desconocimiento de la historia de las instituciones educativas es una problemática que puede afectar de manera negativa el sentido de pertenencia del alumnado. Mediante una narrativa visual atractiva y accesible, la animación busca rescatar y transmitir eventos, personajes y valores clave de la historia de la institución. La metodología incluye el uso del método deductivo, con un enfoque mixto, y la aplicación de investigación documental, entrevistas a miembros de la institución, encuesta aplicada a estudiantes, y el diseño de un guion adaptado al formato animado. El producto final pretende destacar la relevancia de la memoria histórica, además de fomentar un mayor compromiso de estudiantes en su entorno institucional. Este proyecto demuestra cómo el uso de las herramientas creativas puede contribuir a preservar el legado histórico de una institución en el ámbito escolar.
