dc.descriptionThe present research called Reading comprehension and its influence on critical thinking in High School Students of the “Charles Darwin High School Educational Unit” in the city of Pelileo, aims to determine the influence that the independent variable has on the dependent variable. The methodology used is exploratory, descriptive and correlational, collecting relevant information on both variables with the use of evaluation instruments. The results showed that reading comprehension presents high levels of 49%; medium 40% and low 11%, on the other hand, in critical thinking it presents 0% high level, 7% medium level and 93% low level. The conclusion of the research mentions that both variables are correlated with each other.es_ES
dc.description.abstractLa presente investigación denominada La comprensión lectora y su influencia en el pensamiento crítico en los Estudiantes de Bachillerato de la “Unidad Educativa Charles Darwin High School” de la ciudad de Pelileo, tiene por objetivo determinar la influencia que tiene la variable independiente con la variable dependiente. La metodología utilizada es de tipo exploratorio, descriptivo y correlacional, recopilando información relevante de ambas variables con el uso de instrumentos de evaluación. Los resultados mostraron que la comprensión lectora presenta niveles alto 49%; medio 40% y bajo 11%, por otro lado, en el pensamiento crítico presenta un 0% nivel alto, 7% nivel medio y 93% nivel bajo. La conclusión de la investigación menciona que ambas variables se correlacionan entre sí.es_ES
