Material gráfico como aporte informativo en identidad de género para el departamento de consejería estudiantil en la Unidad Educativa San Alfonso

Abstract

This project will develop educational graphic materials on gender identity for the Student Counseling Department of San Alfonso Educational Unit, specifically targeting adolescents aged 13 to 16. The initiative combines strategic graphic design with inclusive pedagogy to create visual resources (brochures, infographics, and digital content) that clearly and engagingly explain basic concepts of gender diversity. The methodology integrates three phases: research of current visual references, compilation of expert-validated information on gender and education, and production of youth-oriented materials. The outcome will be a toolkit of visual resources for student counselors to use in workshops and individual sessions, facilitating dialogue about gender identity in a format accessible to students. This contribution aims not only to educate but also to reduce prejudice and promote a more inclusive school environment where adolescents can explore their identity with professional support and appropriate resources.
