| dc.description | The research project shows the incidence of urban transport in the sustainable mobility of the canton Ambato, in this way set a solution alternative. The research is enunciated in three axes: there was a thorough study of the number of urban transport units operating in the city, taking into account their respective tours and the duration of each of them. On the other hand, factors affecting sustainable mobility were identified. Finally, an econometric analysis, in which a binomial Logit model is carried out which provides accurate data to inform the proposed alternatives. Finally, this research determines that the possible alternative solution to improve sustainable mobility in the canton Ambato is to establish is to set an additional value which was $1.01 and also proposes a road redesign that allows allow bicycles to run safely in the city centre | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | El presente proyecto de investigación muestra la incidencia del transporte urbano en la movilidad sostenible del cantón Ambato, de esta manera establecer una alternativa de solución. La investigación está expuesta en tres ejes: se realizó un estudio minucioso del número de unidades de transporte urbano que operan en la ciudad, teniendo en cuenta sus respectivos recorridos y la duración de cada uno de ellos. Por otro lado, se identificaron los factores que afectan a la movilidad sostenible. Por último, un análisis econométrico, en el que se realiza un modelo Logit binomial el cual arroja datos precisos para fundamentar las alternativas propuestas. Finalmente, esta investigación, determina que las posibles alternativas de solución para mejorar la movilidad sostenible en el cantón Ambato es establecer un valor adicional el cual fue de 1.01 dólares y también se plantea un rediseño vial que permita la circulación de bicicletas en el casco urbano con seguridad | es_ES |
