“LA PUERICULTURA DE LAS MADRES ADOLESCENTES Y EL DESARROLLO DEL INFANTE HASTA LOS TRES MESES DE EDAD EN EL HOSPITAL PEDIÁTRICO ALFONSO VILLAGÓMEZ ROMÁN”

Abstract

La presente investigación se realizó en el Hospital Pediátrico Alfonso Villagómez, con una población universo de 83 madres adolescentes que acudieron a consulta con sus hijos en el primer periodo del 2012. El objetivo fue identificar el nivel de conocimientos que tienen las madres adolescentes sobre Puericultura y la incidencia sobre el desarrollo del recién nacido en los tres primeros meses. Para su estudio se utilizó el método el inductivo-deductivo, las técnicas fueron la encuesta y el fichaje. Los resultados permiten determinar que el porcentaje de madres adolescentes se encuentran entre los 16 y 17 años, solteras, provienen del sector urbano y de hogares con ingresos económicos bajos. Con respecto al conocimiento sobre puericultura, se puede concluir que el 89% se ubicó en el nivel bajo y el 10,84% en un nivel regular. Concluyendo que el bajo nivel de conocimiento de las madres adolescentes sobre puericultura, afectó en el desarrollo físico, socio-afectivo y cognitivo recién nacido. This research was conducted at the Pediatric Hospital Alfonso Villagomez, with a world population of 83 adolescent mothers who consulted with their children in the first quarter of 2012. Aimed to identify the level of knowledge they have on teenage mothers and Childcare the impact on the development of the newborn in the first three months. To study the inductive -deductive method was used; the techniques were the survey and signing. The results allow determining the percentage of teenage mothers is between 16 and 17 years old, single, coming from urban areas and low-income households. Regarding knowledge about child care, it can be concluded that 89 % were located in the lower level and 10.84% at a regular level. Concluding that the low level of knowledge of adolescent mothers about child care, affected the socio- affective and cognitive physical, newborn.
