Abstract: | El trabajo de investigación se realizó acerca el estrés académico y memoria de trabajo en los estudiantes de nivelación y primer semestre de la carrera de psicopedagogía de la Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Con el objetivo de analizar las causas del estrés académico y la memoria de trabajo en los estudiantes de primer semestre de la carrera de psicopedagogía de la Universidad Técnica de Ambato. El proceso metodológico de la investigación posee un enfoque mixto, cuantitativo y cualitativo, con un diseño no experimental- corte transversal. Se utilizó como herramienta el test SISCO y la batería BANFE 3, con un muestreo a 41 estudiantes de primer semestre de la carrera de Psicopedagogía. El resultado reveló una alteración moderada 51% y normal 46%, que significa normalidad del funcionamiento de la memoria. Sin embargo, mediante el estrés académico influye en el cansancio, dolores de cabeza, problemas de digestión y sentimientos de depresión, debido al exceso trabajo y enseñanza de los docentes. El estrés académico influye en la memoria de trabajo por lo que es importante controlar para un buen estilo de vida a través de entrenamientos que mejore las habilidades en la memoria de trabajo. |
Description: | The research project was carried out on academic stress and working memory in leveling students and the first semester of the psychpedagogy career at the Technical University of Ambato. With the objective of analyzing the causes of academic stress and working memory in first semester students of the Psychopedagogy career of the Technical University of Ambato. The methodological process of the research has a mixed, quantitative, and qualitative approach, with a non-experimental-cross-sectional design. The SISCO test and the BANFE 3 battery were used as a tool, with a sample of 41 first-semester students of the Psychopedagogy career. The result revealed a moderate alteration 51% and normal 46%, which means normal memory function. However, through academic stress, it influences fatigue, headaches, digestion problems and feelings of depression, due to excessive work and teaching by teachers. Academic stress influences working memory, so it is important to control for a good lifestyle through training that improves working memory skills. |
