Abstract: | Resilience refers to the capacity of people to adapt and overcome difficult moments that arise in life; on the other hand, psychological well-being focuses on "being well", self-fulfillment and how the human being is empowered. The study aims to identify the relationship between resilience and psychological well-being in university students. The research is quantitative non-experimental, descriptive-correlational, and cross-sectional. The sample consisted of 122 students from an Ecuadorian university belonging to the nursing career, with 15 men and 107 women, aged between 20 and 29 years. The results of the correlation indicated that there is a direct relationship between resilience and psychological well-being (Rho=0.554, p<0.001), the more resilience the person will have a better psychological well-being |
Description: | La resiliencia se refiere a la capacidad de las personas de poder adaptarse y atravesar ante momentos difíciles que surgen en la vida; Por otro lado, el bienestar psicológico se enfoca en el “estar bien”, la autorrealización y como se potencia el ser humano. El estudio pretende identificar la relación entre la resiliencia y el bienestar psicológico en estudiantes universitarios. La investigación es de tipo cuantitativo no experimental, de nivel descriptivo correlacional, además es de corte transversal. La muestra estuvo conformada por 122 estudiantes de una universidad ecuatoriana pertenecientes a la carrera de enfermería, con 15 hombres y 107 mujeres, de edades comprendidas entre 20 a 29 años. Los resultados de la correlación indicaron que existe una relación directa entre resiliencia y bienestar psicológico (Rho=0.554, p<0.001), entre más resiliencia la persona poseerá un mejor bienestar psicológico |
