| Abstract: | La presente investigación, estudia la Reforma Tributaria emitida en el año 2019 a los impuestos del comercio exterior y de qué manera impacto a la economía del sector automotriz. El propósito de la investigación es analizar y comparar las reformas del impuesto al comercio exterior y de qué manera repercutió a la economía en el sector automotriz del cantón Ambato. La muestra de estudio que se utilizó para la investigación fue las 22 empresas automotrices constituidas en el Servicio de Rentas Internas, captadas en los periodos 2019-2021. Para el año 2020 el sector automotriz se ha visto afectado por el cierre del comercio exterior por la pandemia del Covid-19. Ya que al existir medidas de restricción el índice de importaciones disminuyo, por lo cual las ventas para este año se vieron desfavorecidas. Para el año 2021 con la ayuda del gobierno de turno y con las decisiones tomadas para la reactivación económica. Este sector en el cantón Ambato se ha ido equilibrando en comparación con el año 2019. De la misma manera los tratados de libre comercio con la Unión Europea y la disminución de los impuestos a los consumos especiales para las importaciones realizadas en Europa, de acuerdo con esto las marcas europeas en vehículos se han convertido en uno de los predilectos para los usuarios. El cual ha incrementado el índice de ventas. sin embargo, la importación de vehículos eléctricos también ha favorecido al sector automotriz, puesto que al no poseer impuestos son adquiridos con mayor frecuencia. Lo que se ha concluido que las reformas tributarias ayudaron drásticamente en la rentabilidad del sector automotriz del cantón Ambato. |
| Description: | This research studies the Tax Reform issued in 2019 to foreign trade taxes and how it impacted the economy of the automotive sector. The purpose of the research is to analyze and compare the reforms of the foreign trade tax and how it impacted the economy in the automotive sector of the canton of Ambato. The study sample used for the research was the 22 automotive companies incorporated in the Internal Revenue Service, captured in the periods 2019-2021. For the year 2020 the automotive sector has been affected by the closure of foreign trade due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Due to the existence of restrictive measures, the rate of imports decreased, so sales for this year were disadvantaged. For the year 2021 with the help of the current government and with the decisions taken for economic recovery. This sector in the canton of Ambato has been balancing compared to 2019. In the same way the free trade agreements with the European Union and the decrease in excise taxes for imports made in Europe, according to this the European brands in vehicles have become one of the favorites for users. However, the importation of electric vehicles has also favored the automotive sector, since they are purchased more frequently due to the fact that they are not subject to taxes. It has been concluded that the tax reforms have helped drastically in the profitability of the automotive sector in the canton of Ambato. |
