Perfil lipídico y su relación con las transaminasas en personas con sobrepeso u obesidad que acuden al Laboratorio Clínico Bio-Lab del cantón Pujilí

Abstract

The measurement of the levels of the Lipid Profile are considered vital tests in the diagnosis and follow-up of the treatment of cardiovascular diseases, and the measurement of the levels of Transaminases to determine if the person has liver damage. Previous studies have shown that an alteration in the Lipid Profile can alter the concentrations of Transaminases, therefore, this study aimed to relate the levels of the Lipid Profile with the levels of Transaminases in overweight or obese people who attend to the Bio-Lab Pujilí Clinical Laboratory, through the clinical determination of cholesterol, triglycerides, high-density lipoproteins, low-density lipoproteins, aspartate aminotransferase and alanine aminotransferase, obtaining as a result that of 100% of the study population, 60% has at least one parameter altered of the lipid profile or transaminases, so this study will help to describe the possible causes for developing non-alcoholic fatty liver.
