| Abstract: | La infancia es una etapa importante para el desarrollo psicológico, ya que en los primeros años de vida se forma nuestra visión del mundo y las personas que lo rodean, una perspectiva que definirá nuestra vida de adultos por lo que es importante el manejo de habilidades de afrontamiento, por lo que los niños desde pequeños deben enfrentarse a la adaptación principalmente escolar, y en la misma desarrollar estrategias que les permitan resolver problemas de manera productiva. Es por esto que esta investigación se ha centrado en identificar la relación que tiene la adaptación escolar y las habilidades de afrontamiento en niños de 9 a 12 años, para lo cual se ha tomado en cuenta a 65 estudiantes de la Unidad Educativa “San Alfonso”, los mismos que necesitan mejorar sus habilidades de afrontamiento frente a la adaptación escolar que sufrirían este año lectivo debido al regreso a la presencialidad escolar. Para esto se ha aplicado la Escala de Afrontamiento en Niños (EAN) y la Encuesta para medir el grado de adaptación escolar la misma que fue validada. Finalmente, para apoyar la solución de esta problemática se ha propuesto un Manual de Estrategias de Afrontamiento el cual brinda una guía para la intervención y desarrollo de estas, que apoyen a la calidad de educación de los estudiantes. |
| Description: | Childhood is an important stage for psychological development, since in the first years of life our vision of the world and the people around us is formed, a perspective that will define our life as adults, so it is important to manage coping skills, so that children from an early age must face mainly school adaptation, and in the same develop strategies that allow them to solve problems productively. This is why this research has focused on identifying the relationship between school adaptation and coping skills in children from 9 to 12 years old, for which 65 students from the "San Alfonso" Educational Unit have been taken into account, who need to improve their coping skills in the face of the school adaptation that they will suffer this school year due to the return to school attendance. For this purpose, the Children's Coping Scale (EAN) and the Survey to measure the degree of school adaptation were applied and validated.Finally, to support the solution of this problem, a Coping Strategies Manual has been proposed,which provides a guide for the intervention and development of coping strategies that supportthe quality of education of students. |
