| Resumen : | La presente investigación tiene como pilar las costumbres y tradiciones, ya que, en la actualidad son el principal componente de una actividad vanguardista dentro de la industria turística, la alternativa de turismo cultural se orienta en dar a conocer y hacer partícipe al turista de la cultura, identidad, y forma de vivir del pueblo. El estudio proyecta su objetivo general en analizar las costumbres y tradiciones como experiencia turística en la Isla Santay. Esta exploración traza un enfoque cuantitativo al recopilar información bibliográfica sobre la isla e implementar una encuesta, basándose en el nivel de conocimiento cultural de las personas que la han visitado, su experiencia y grado de satisfacción. Los resultados que se obtuvieron permiten mostrar a la Isla Santay como un destino con potencial, el cuál conserva elementos que llaman la atención del visitante, permitiendo el fortalecimiento de la experiencia. La Isla Santay cuenta con costumbres y tradiciones que demuestran el gran valor cultural enraizado en su gente. Constituye además el punto de partida para desarrollar otros tipos de turismo que se puede practicar en el mismo lugar, como son: turismo ecológico o ecoturismo, de aventura, científico, religioso, etc. Todo este amplio catálogo de actividades colabora con la economía del sector fortaleciendo y desarrollando un turismo sostenible. |
| Descripción : | This research is based on customs and traditions, since at the present, they are the main component of an Avant–Garde activity within the tourism industry, the alternative of cultural tourism is oriented to make know and make the tourist participate in culture, identity, and way of life of a town, city, or a country. The study projects its general objective in analyzing customs and traditions as a tourist experience on the Santay Island, this exploration traces a quantitative approach when collecting information bibliography about the island and implement a survey based on cultural know ledge of the people who have visited it, their experience and degree of satisfaction, the results that were obtained allow to show to the Santay Island as a destination with potential, which preserves elements that attract the attention of the visitor, allowing the strengthening of the experience. The Santay Island has customs and traditions that demonstrate the great cultural value rooted in its people, it is also the starting point to develop other types of tourism that can be practiced in the same place, as they are: ecological or ecotourism, adventure, scientific, religious, etc. All this wide catalog of activities collaborates with the economy from the sector strengthening and developing a sustainable tourism. |
