Abstract: | Plyometric training is an explosive strength training that allows a better development of muscle strength, allowing a certain amount of force to be released quickly. Plyometric exercises are primarily based on a rapid eccentric movement, followed by a choppy damping, followed by an explosive concentric movement. For this reason, the physiotherapeutic intervention through the introduction of plyometric training in sports practice in impact sports has the main objective of this research to determine the effects of plyometric training through telerehabilitation on dynamic stability and power of the lower limb in athletes of the Parkour Ambato group. The study method of this research has the characteristics of a descriptive study, with a longitudinal design that included the participation of 7 athletes, for 6 weeks, with the performance of 2 workouts per week, obtaining a total of 12 workouts. It is concluded that dynamic stability was increased in both the dominant leg obtaining a 1.70% gain and in the non-dominant leg with 2.4% gain, the non-dominant leg obtaining greater benefits, thus reducing asymmetry. Power improved in the horizontal jump tests with a gain of 6.5% and countermovement jump height of 5.7cm. In addition, the benefits were greater for athletes with fewer years of experience in the sport. |
