Rehabilitación interior de la casa patrimonial del Vicariato Apostólico del Napo como museo Teológico

Abstract

The project entitled Rehabilitation of the Apostolic Vicariate of Napo as a theological museum, presents through a proposal the possible rehabilitation inside, rescuing its history through the design of interior spaces. In the first place, an investigation was developed which bases and supports the project in a theoretical-conceptual way, then a field analysis of the building of the Vicariate cataloged as a heritage building was carried out for the intervention and the proposal, through the methodology focused on the user. After collecting data, various approaches were formulated, such as: the materiality of the space since being an old building, its construction typology can be highlighted, natural lighting to enhance the interior of the space, as well as the objects that are inside he, the harmony of the space to save the exterior-interior relationship and provide a new experience to the user. Finally, we proceeded to the proposal for the design and rehabilitation of the interior as a museum of the Vicariate, which responded to the need to create spaces for the exhibition of the history of the Josefina Mission and its passage through eastern Ecuador.
